The Farmhouse

Burgundy Villas presents "The Farmhouse" an authentic property situated in the heart of Frances Burgundy countryside. The Farmhouse is situated up a quiet secluded lane with a lovely shaded entrance porch covered with beautiful mature wisteria vine. The front door leads into an open plan kitchen/salon that is fully equipped .There is a sofa and armchair, bookshelves and coffee table with a large open wood burning stove (wood provided) and central heating for the colder months. The bathroom has a large shower room featuring an old stone slab sink and a wonderful open shower and a separate room with a toilet. Above the bathroom there is a mezzanine bedroom with the option of twin beds or double. The room has oak beams and a window overlooking the private lane..To the right of the salon is a staircase leading to a large beamed, sunny bedroom with a double bed. For the summer months the swimming pool is shared with Pickwicks Cottage and L’Ecurie. It is set away from all the houses (100metres) and therefore provides privacy for guests. The pool is regularly maintained, cleaned and has an efficient heating system regulating the temperature. The pool house has changing rooms and an undercover eating area. There is also a WC, shower, changing area and a line for drying wet towels and bathing costumes.
