We are only 5 minutes from the A1 motorway making it so easy to visit so many of our famous towns and villages of North Yorkshire, the beautiful scenery of Wensleydale is literally only a stones throw away. This is a very large room with a beautiful king size bed ,lovely big sofa to relax, luxurious velvet soft furnishings, tea/ coffee making facilities with views of our cobbled Market place and our 12th century church St Gregories . It has a large en-suite with shower which has toiletries, shaver socket and ample storage We have recently taken over The Green Dragon in September 2021 previously we have ran a very busy Lakeland pub/restaurant and then a Lakeland Guest House. We have moved to be Bedale to be closer to our family. Since taking over we have introduced a new menu refurbished the kitchen and all 7 of our letting rooms have been totally refurbished including all the en-suites to a very high standard. The Green Dragon holds a prominent position in the centre of the beautiful North Yorkshire town of Bedale. From the rooms positioned at the front of the building you have a full view of the cobble market place and our stunning 12th century Church St Gregory’s. From Bedale you will find many fabulous places to visit within a short driving distance including Richmond, York, Harrogate, Thirsk, Ripon and the North Yorkshire coast and is only a stones throw from Wensleydale .
