'Boulder Bank Bach'- a unique bach, 100m to water

Boulder Bank Bach is situated in the serene area known as The Glen. The house is literally right on the Boulder Bank (well 100m to it anyway). The accessibility to the water makes summertime swimming a real bonus- especially the evening swims at sunset. Snorkeling, diving, fishing (sometimes even surfing) are all right there too. The house is on a cul-de-sac so the traffic is limited to local residents and it's a quiet place to relax. At the street end begins the Cable Bay walkway (a 3hr walk through QE2 reserved native forest). The house itself is one of the original houses here and has a quirky design and is a great place to spend some time. The eclectic furniture has been collected over the years from India, France, and op-shops in NZ. The house is well designed for easy-flow living, including bi-fold doors to increase indoor/outdoor living. The outdoor decking contains a large table/chairs suite and a BBQ for those warm summer nights. The house contains three double bedrooms (sleeping seven people) comprising the following: King Size bed in a very spacious master bedroom upstairs, Queen Size bed in a room with a door opening to the decking, Double bunk- also with a door to the outside decking. The bathroom is another funky feature of the house, containing a separate shower and a bath underneath a glass ceiling (and ferns to boot). There is a cot and highchair in the storage space if guests require them. The house has free wifi, freeview TV and a collection of over 600 DVDs. There’s also an LP collection and record player to settle into those cosy evenings at home. And to top it all off, there are four chooks which will provide 2-4 fresh eggs daily for guests to eat (the chook food will be provided by the owners, but guests will need to feed the chooks- it is very easy and fun to do, as well as collecting the eggs!). Special conditions: Pets allowed with prior approval. Stay is for maximum 4 people, additional adult is $30 per night, child $15 per night. Minimum stay of 7 nights over Christmas/New Years period. Minimum stay of 3 nights for remainder of NZ school holiday periods. Bond required. Smoking outside please. Strictly no parties, no venue, no outside guests.
