BELLEVUE is a gorgeous private residence at literally the highest point of the Blue Mountains - 1,100M above sea level. BELLEVUE is aptly named for its "beautiful view'" - a view that is considered to be in the top ten of Blue Mountains private properties. The views from the loungeroom span to Kanangra Walls over100KM's away. Closer are the stunning cliff escarpment views that are second to none. BELLEVUE is located in a quiet no through road in the heritage listed suburb of Mt Victoria. At this altitude snow is very common mid-winter. Breath the fresh air at this beautifully renovated six bedroom home that is 1KM, (walking distance), from Mt Victoria station. The property is over an acre (4,500 sqm) with private manicured gardens and a gorgeous feature fountain which is lit up at night in the west garden. The large bird bath in the northern garden attracts rainbow lorikeets and crimson rosellas and the rear boundary is the Blue Mountains World Heritage park. This home provides a unique opportunity to relax, enjoy Mt Victoria and everything the Blue Mountains has to offer. The whole Mt Victoria village is under a heritage act with some of the best and oldest history of the region; two examples being the train museum at Mt Victoria station and the Imperial Hotel. Both have a Royal history and are recommended viewing. If you are seeking cheaper partly renovated 4 star accommodation we recommend our other Blue Mountains property - MERVEILLE in Wentworth Falls (also advertised on this channel). It accommodates 12 guests. BELLEVUE IS PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED AND DISINFECTED AGAINST COVID-19 between each booking. The home sleeps 12 guests in 6 bedrooms with luxury bedding in the following configuration; Master bedroom = luxury pillow top KING bed, gorgeous mountain views, under-floor heating, built in robes and ensuite with heated floor and bath tub. 2nd bedroom = luxury latex KING bed, under floor heating and gorgeous mountain views. 3rd bedroom = luxury pillow top KING bed, built in robes, direct access to the veranda and garden, 4th bedroom = luxury pillow top QUEEN bed, built in robes and garden vista, 5th bedroom = luxury pillow top QUEEN bed, built in robes and garden vista, 6th bedroom = luxury pillow top QUEEN bed, built in robes and garden vista, There is one travel cot located in 3rd bedroom wardrobe. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN COT LINEN. All beds have luxury pillow-top mattresses, quality linen, electric blankets, luxury pillows of various firmness, doonas, doona covers, mattress and pillow protectors and bath towels. All our linen at Bellevue is washed using low-irritant laundry detergent that is suitable for people with sensitive skin. Weather permitting, all our linen is line dried to improve freshness and deliver better quality and sanitation for our guests. All bedrooms have block-out blinds. A note from the locals: if you stay in the Blue Mountains during Winter in a property without state-of-the-art climate control AND electric blankets on all beds, expect to lay awake all night shivering. Bellevue is very quiet, cosy, very warm and comfortable in winter. In Summer, Bellevue is breezy and cool. The new kitchen has gorgeous mountain views, Ceasarstone benchtops, under bench LED lighting and Miele appliances: gas cooktop, rangehood, electric oven and dishwasher. A convection microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, Aldi coffee machine, milk frothier and toaster are also provided. The kitchen is fully appointed including; two cast iron French ovens, fry pans, saucepans, all crockery and utensils. The pantry is stocked with some key staples; e.g. tea, a small supply of coffee capsules, cooking oil, salt, pepper, spices, foil, glad wrap and baking paper. Strick NSW hospitality laws prevent us providing anything but the basics. All bookings receive a complimentary bottle of wine. The adjoining open plan dinning room has stunning views and very comfortable seating for 12 guests at a dinning table built for 14 people - there is plenty of elbow room. The home is beautifully appointed with high quality furniture including a very large loungeroom with large, soft, comfortable lounges. The loungeroom has the best views of the home and also includes an ENORMOUS 75" HD SMART TV mounted on the wall, free to air digital TV and UNLIMITED FAST internet (NBN 50) so you can access your Netflix, STAN and YouTube! A stereo with CD & radio are also provided as is a small CD library . For the kids there is a separate 42" TV with DVD player downstairs (in the kids rumpus room) with a good library of DVD’s provided. The temperature in the whole home is managed by a state-of-the-art, 8 zone, ducted air-conditioning system. There is also a large slow combustion fireplace with a 3 speed fan to keep you cosy in winter and firewood should be purchased on your journey. We recommend the firewood at the petrol station in Medlow Bath. Note - our experience is the firewood being sold at the 24 hr Mt Victoria service station does not burn well. The main bathroom is renovated with a large free standing bathtub set in a gorgeous bay window, separate shower, two heated towel rails and a heated LED mirror, (i.e. anti-fog) with built in Bluetooth speakers to play music from your phone or mobile devise while you relax in the bath. You can stream music from our free NBN network through your phone into the mirror. There is a separate toilet with luxury toilet paper provided. Note the ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom also has a bathtub - there are two bathtubs at Bellevue. The large mud room includes two front loader washing machines (Miele) and two auto sensor dryers. An iron & ironing board are located in the wardrobe of the 3rd bedroom. State of the art security systems include keyless entry, (note the entry code will be sent via an SMS text on the day of your check-in), monitored surveillance, automatic night lighting, security sensor lighting, window locks and hard-wired smoke detectors, (not batteries). All internal lighting is dimmable LED's throughout the entire home. Outside there is an enormous sunny deck with a square outdoor dining setting for eight people and a five burner BBQ (including side burner), that is plumbed into natural gas - you never have to change gas bottles! There are multiple gardens to relax and enjoy the view, each with there own character. The stunning views and fountain flood the garden with tranquillity. They are managed and maintained by a professional horticulturalist who was previously the Head Horticulturalist for Federal Parliament in Canberra. In late winter/early spring, literally thousands of daffodils and snow bells appear. There is plenty of room for the kids to explore, play games and the north garden includes a large swing set. The western terrace has an outdoor brazier - sit around a fire, share good times whilst overlooking the gorgeous mountain view next to the fountain. There is ample parking in the circular white pebble driveway which has automatic lighting. Kangaroos, king parrots, rainbow lorikeets, crimson rosellas, whip birds, bell birds, lyre birds and eagles are just some of the wildlife that frequent the garden which has thousands of flowers in spring. Smoking, pets and parties are NOT PERMTTED under any circumstances and breaches of these rules will impact your security deposit. Woolworths at Lithgow deliver to BELLEVUE - please order through them directly. We can provide a professional on-site chef for dinners, lunches or breakfasts, depending on his availability and at least seven days notice is required. Prior bookings and full pre-payment are mandatory. Fees are calculated upon request.
