The Space The cottage was built approximately 1890. Formerly a horse stable. Now a beautifully refurbished bed and breakfast. Self contained. Upstairs bedroom and sitting area. Downstairs - kitchen, dining, separate laundry and modern bathroom. Fully furnished. Gas heating.Two heaters in the property. One for the bedroom/sitting area. The other in the downstairs - kitchen/dining area. Good quality linen is provided. The minimalist kitchen has a range of dinnerware, glassware, cooking utensils and appliances, microwave oven (operates as both a conventional oven and a microwave oven) and a single burner induction cooktop. Other Things to Note Guest Access The listing is for the full cottage. Owner lives in separate house at the front of the property. Interaction with Guests Host is very knowledgeable about the local area and happy to assist with information regarding activities in town. Would recommend visiting wineries and historic sites in the district. There is an outstanding garden - Mayfield - on the road to Oberon (approx. 20 kms drive from Bathurst). Internet There is a wi fi/ internet access for the accommodation. The Neighbourhood Quiet and peaceful, located one street back from the banks of the Macquarie River and within easy walking distance of the central part of town. Close to restaurants and cafes, shops and Metro cinema. Getting Around The train station is approx. 5 minute drive away. The airport is approx. 15 mins drive away. Public buses and taxis operate within the town. During race season shuttle buses operate between the CBD and Mount Panorama. The host can collect guests from the Bathurst train station and/or the airport. Please advise when booking. Safety Please note, those with limited mobility may find the staircase to the bedroom on the second floor difficult to navigate. House Rules No curfews however please maintain respectful and appropriate behaviour. No smoking indoors or pets.
