BEACHFRONT VILLA-BACARDI FAMILY/WEDDING/EVENT

Villa Daiquiri was built in the early 1980's as the residence for the granddaughter of the founder of the Bacardi liquor empire. It became the family's Costa Rican vacation compound, sleeping 15. On-site caretaker lives in guest house. We have spent a year renovating and upgrading the property with modern systems. Kitchen boasts commercial stove/ovens (chef/caterers dream), 100lb icemaker, and two refrigerators. Designed for large families, groups, or a Wedding Destination. (Optional tents and full event amenities to accommodate ceremonies, meetings, or receptions for up to 150 people are available, plus parking for 50+ vehicles in our adjacent lot). We added an AWESOME balcony off of the beachfront covered porch. Ideal for photos and sipping "Sundowners". The North wall of Living room was cut out and a 15' wide folding door, porch, and ramp were installed to provide access to tent/bars with smooth flow for food service. All external doors and 2nd floor windows were replaced. HUGE pool with secondary adult lounging/kiddie pool with fountain and spillway. Outdoor shower plus full pool bath. Being very security conscious, many interesting features were built into the Villa. Brand new beach fence/gate installed. The compound is an acre (4050 square M) in size with 197 ft (60 Meters) of beach frontage. It is enclosed on 3 sides with concrete walls and has a guardhouse. Designed with unheard of amenities of the day, including central AC and dishwashers. Custom and hand painted imported tiles from Spain, Italy, and Mexico adorn the Villa. Gold plated fixtures adorn the baths and lighting. The unique half moon windows were constructed on-site in the 80's. The 40+ year old (almond) ceiling woodwork appears as if it was installed last week! Custom tiles in the kitchen are hand signed by the artist. The style of the house (and interesting bathrooms/lighting) is a combination art deco and 70's funk. Many exotic plants, flowers, & fruit were planted onsite including the aromatic ingredient in Chanel #5. We have renovated the systems as necessary and strived to keep as much original as feasible. We believe the Bacardi's would be proud. Come enjoy our renovated mansion, surrounded by one of the top rated beaches in Costa Rica, Howler monkeys (live in the front Mango trees with monkey bridges to protect them from power lines.) and sounds of surf to lull you to sleep. It was pulled from market to complete EXTENSIVE renovation and then Covid struck. I assure you that a few million dollars has been invested to provide an ultimate experience for our guests.
