Escape to the coast at this beautifully renovated, unique seaside home, 150m from the beach at East Preston, West Sussex. With a wood burner, sun trap garden and authentic beach house style in every detail, Driftwood Corner offers plenty of space both inside and out, for the whole family to enjoy and create long lasting memories whatever the weather! Dogs welcome. Excellent access to Brighton, Arundel, Goodwood and the South Downs and a year round dog friendly beach at the end of the road. Driftwood Corner is the perfect house for a relaxed family holiday. Completely renovated and refurbished throughout in 2021, it offers generous ground floor accommodation within two huge living spaces. In the sitting room, plenty of cosy seating set around the inglenook fireplace, complete with log burner allows for catching up on the days activities or enjoying a drink before dinner. Through the original oak beamed archway is the family room/snug with bean bags, and a comfy sofa to chill out on and watch the large screen smart TV or enjoy some board games. Across the hall is the open plan kitchen/dining room. Whitewashed brick and feature reclaimed wood panel wall are complemented by handmade kitchen furniture using locally sourced reclaimed materials. The kitchen is equipped with double range cooker, american style fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The outside space is accessed by french doors in the sitting room. On one side is the beautifully restored verandah where you can snuggle up in the hanging chair enjoying the morning sun with a good book and a coffee! On the other is the south facing, indian sandstone patio with large repurposed cable drum tables, charcoal bbq and pergola complete with fairy lights for balmy evenings! The enclosed garden is the perfect space for the kids to kick a ball around or play with the dog. Upstairs the master bedroom boasts a super king bed and shower ensuite. Bedroom 2 has a kingsize bed with shower ensuite. Bedroom 3 & 4 both have two single beds each and there is a family bathroom with rainfall shower over the bath. There is parking for two cars on the driveway and further free parking if required is available in the village. You will have total privacy but we live next door so there is always someone on hand if you need anything - just ask! Please note this house is not suitable for parties being situated in a quiet residential area. Access is via a key safe so you can check in at your convenience after 4pm.
