A popular surf spot where dolphins and surfers share the waves and memories are made! The perfect place to reconnect with your loved ones, relax & rejuvenate your soul, or work remotely in a peaceful location. Follow us on Instagram! @312.oceanview Our idea of the perfect beach day…Wake to mesmerizing ocean views, enjoy coffee & breakfast on our oceanfront deck with a dining table & 4 chairs plus 3 chaise lounges, head downstairs and out the lower level bedroom door and take a long walk or run on the beach & collect sand dollars & seashells along the way, start (and finish) that book you've been wanting to read or catch up on some much needed sleep while you bask in the warmth of the sun, paddle out on a boogie board or surfboard and catch some waves, head back upstairs and mix up a batch of cocktails to enjoy while you marvel at the picturesque sunset and be entertained by the talented surfers right in front of our home, fire up the grill (or order in) & enjoy dinner al fresco or indoors at our dining table that seats 8 (plus 3 additional counter stools), retreat back down to the beach with s'mores fixings and relax by your bonfire (perhaps with a glass of port) as you stargaze and reconnect with your loved ones, then return to your home-away-from-home through your own private beach access and be lulled back to sleep by the sound of the waves...Repeat! *A starter supply of TP & paper towels is provided. Guests are responsible for replenishing during their stay *Guests bring bath & beach towels (hand & dish towels provided) *2 night minimum 9/8 (after Labor Day Weekend) - 4/30 *4 night minimum over Spring Break, April 4-8, 2022 & major holiday weeks (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Winter Break) *3 night minimum over other holidays, except during high season, then 4 night minimum applies *4 night minimum during High Season: 5/15-9/8 (or through Labor Day Weekend) **Minimums may be flexible based on availability closer to requested arrival date; please inquire *This is our 2nd home and a very well-kept vacation rental in a family-oriented complex & we are happy to share it with respectful renters who appreciate fine accommodations & care for it like their own. The Surrounding Area: If you tire of hanging out on the beach all day (is that even possible?), there's plenty to do in the surrounding area! California's oldest seaside resort town, Capitola, with plentiful shops & restaurants, is just 10 miles to the north and downtown Santa Cruz and the iconic Beach Boardwalk are just a few miles further (The Boardwalk is reopening on April 1st!). Moss Landing is 15 miles south of us, Monterey is 18 miles beyond that, and Carmel Valley/Carmel by the Sea are just a little further and make for a wonderful day trip. For wine aficionados, there are plenty of tasting rooms in close proximity and you just might discover a new favorite! If cooking is not your idea of a vacation, indulge in the culinary delights of the plethora of restaurants in Aptos, Capitola, Soquel & Santa Cruz, many of which offer outdoor dining! And for the more adventurous or those seeking an active vacation, try your hand at an array of water sports, throw a fishing line in the surf and hook a surf perch, halibut or striped bass, pack your tennis gear for the nearby courts just a short drive away, discover new terrain as you hike along the coast, zip-line through the trees, go berry picking or buy a fresh pie at Gizdich Ranch in Watsonville, book a whale watching adventure or fishing charter, catch a beach concert or take a thrilling ride on the 4th oldest roller coaster in the U.S., the legendary Giant Dipper, with speeds up to 46 MPH and a spectacular view of the Monterey Bay at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk which is reopening on April 1st, explore the swimming hole & beauty at the Garden of Eden in Santa Cruz, book a tee time at Seascape Golf Club in Aptos (only 5 minutes from our home)...the possibilities are endless! NO PETS, NO EXCEPTIONS (REGRETFULLY, THIS ALSO INCLUDES SERVICE & ASSISTANCE ANIMALS DUE TO HOST'S SEVERE ALLERGIES) NO SMOKING/VAPING INDOORS OR ON DECK ALLOWED MAXIMUM OF 8 OVERNIGHT GUESTS. SOCIAL GATHERINGS ARE LIMITED TO 10 PEOPLE MAXIMUM AND ONLY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8AM-10PM Violations of the above rules will result in an automatic forfeiture of security deposit Please be advised that any excessive cleaning, deemed necessary by our professional housekeeping team, that results in an additional charge to us, will be deducted from guest's security deposit.
