But really, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE VIEW!! Perched high in the hills of tranquil Doonan, Light House looks out over the forest greens of our coastal mainland to the crystal blues of the Coral Sea beyond. An ideal location to explore the region's best - the beaches, the wilderness, the river, the everglades, the villages, the markets, the makers, the farm gates, the food... 5 minutes drive down the road you'll find great cafes, coffee, brunch, and organic grocery goodness. Drive 20 minutes to Noosa Main Beach, Hastings Street and the National Park, just 15 minutes to the river and Gympie Terrace, or 10 minutes west to the village of Eumundi - with its popular market, live music, pubs and park. The moment you step through the entrance at Light House you are drawn into the panoramic dreamscape seen from most spaces in the house. At the upper entry level you seem to be floating in the clouds. This floor has two wings; to the left, the deluxe master suite is lavishly appointed and includes walk-in robe and large ensuite - with deep soaking tub, shower, double vanity, separate toilet and bidet. Overlooking the pool and deck below, both the wraparound balcony and private lounge area enjoy ocean and mountain views - a favourite place to watch the sunset over Mount Cooroy! The other wing's two generous bedrooms also have King-size beds, ample wardrobe space, vista windows, and a shared family bathroom. From the epic foyer, a curved staircase leads to the downstairs living zone - with informal and formal lounge and recreational spaces that open up to the outside, a bar, secret cellar, cosy home cinema room, private powder room with third toilet, and new large laundry. A partially-covered deck stretches the length of the house - leading from the walk-in saltwater swimming pool - with water feature, sun lounges, and travertine tiles - to the alfresco entertaining and long-table dining area, with wall-length sliding glass doors. The immaculate kitchen features stone benchtops, 5 burner gas hob, electric ff oven, steamer, plate warmer, island bench, and high breakfast bar. Opening onto the pool, with independent access from the street, the downstairs studio has a Queen-size bed and a large ensuite with shower and deep soaking tub. **This suite can be offered as an alternative bedroom for couples desiring privacy, teenagers, elders, or those with special mobility needs. Holiday makers, retreat groups, and families will love the little extras we provide for little and big people to enjoy: books, DVDs, puzzles, and games. Culture lovers will appreciate the art we are fortunate to share by First Nations and international artists. The home is offered with simple, sustainable and slow living in mind. Sustainability features incude solar panels and solar hot water, UV 2-way filtered tank water and Enviro Cycle bio waste system. Other features: - Entertainers kitchen with Miele and Smeg appliances, French door fridge with self-filling filtered water vessel, dishwasher, microwave, ample pantry space, and servery window to alfresco entertaining area. - Split system air-conditioning and ceiling fans. - Open wood fireplace (for Winter guests). - Original vintage copper and brass ships lights around exterior. - 2 car Port Cochere (parking for 5 cars) and 1-2 car garage.
