The Fort Davis "Rock House" | Breathtaking Views all to Yourself

The "Rock House" is located just southeast of Fort Davis on top of a scenic bluff overlooking the beautiful Muzquiz Canyon and Mitre Peak of the Davis Mountains. Enjoy the view of West Texas from any of the porches surrounding all four sides of the house. The master bedroom has a king bed, a full bathroom, and a beautiful fireplace as the room's centerpiece. The two guest bedrooms have one king and two XL twin beds, each with its own full bathroom. Hardwood floors, cedar ceiling, and non-mortared rock construction dug into the side of the bluff on which the house sits make for a very comfortable stay throughout the year. Central a/c and heat were added in early 2012, along with all new stainless appliances. The house offers two fireplaces, both gas ignited. The house is less than 10 minutes from historic Fort Davis, is 25 minutes from the many attractions of art-centric Marfa, and is 20 minutes from Alpine, making it a great location to explore.
