A balcony off the kitchen has seating to overlook the backyard. - Dining room: Seating for 10 - Upper porch: Covered porch has a grill, outdoor table, and rocking chairs to enjoy your morning coffee as the sun rises over the ponds. - Living room: Bright second living room has vaulted ceilings and huge windows offering great views of the ponds with large smart TV and DVD player. - Game room: Ping pong, foosball, skee ball, and a pop-a-shot The house has central air and radiant and propane heat, and all the bedrooms have a ceiling fan, dresser, and closet. The home is pet free. Enjoy the 16' canoe, 4 kid-sized kayaks, and hundreds of DVDs. Note: As with much of rural VT, we have satellite internet and limited cell service (though you can switch to internet calls on your cell phone). The wifi is good enough for streaming or multiple people to attend Zoom calls - but it lags if you are having a back-and-forth conversation. We also have a landline you can use for long-distance calls if your cell service is not strong. Need baby gear during your stay? The property has plenty of space for hiking/snowshoeing in the woods and trails to discover several small waterfalls and streams. In the summer, keep an eye out for the local beavers, frogs, fish, and birds that share our land! Guests use the hot tub, bunk beds, pond, and boats at their own risk. The cabins on the property are not usable. In the winter, a 4WD is needed to navigate the roads in VT and to access the house. NEARBY The property is adjacent to the VAST network and less than 10 minutes from Lake Raponda and Harriman Reservoir, which are beautiful spots for swimming, picnicking, and BBQing. Hiking trails that enter Molly Stark State Park are right out the door (and just minutes away by car from the main entrance). The house is five minutes to town, groceries, restaurants, charming antique stores, and coffee shops and 20 minutes to Mt. Snow.
