The dining room can sit up to 8 guest and has direct access via stairs to the front balcony area on the ground floor. The Boathouse also has the added benefit of having an enclosed rear lawned garden, plus the luxury of garage parking for one car. Accommodation: Ground Floor: Three bedrooms: 1 King Double with a large wardrobe, 1 Double, 1 Twin. Family bathroom, with roll top bath and a separate shower, WC and basin. First Floor: A central staircase takes you up to the living area, where the sea and beach views are simply stunning. The living area consists of a thoughtfully fitted kitchen with bar stool seating for three, A gorgeous sitting room with log burner, plenty of comfortable seating looking towards those panoramic Solent views. A separate dining room seating up to 8 guests. Off the kitchen there is a utility room with WC, basin and laundry facilities. Second Floor: Sitting area with a freeview TV, a perfect retreat for the teenagers. Outside: Outside to the rear there is an enclosed lawned garden with an outdoor shower. To the front there is a balcony area overlooking the beach and Solent. Garage parking for 1 car. Garden furniture will be outside from the Spring to the early Autumn The seaside resort of Seaview was built by the Edwardians due to the stunning panoramic sea views and great sandy beaches, and these assets are still very much true today. The Boathouse sits in the middle of Seagrove Bay which is a much sought-after holiday destination to be desired as you can quite simply gently melt into the sands for a long day of sun basking. The property itself faces a shallow bay with a host of water sports and inviting turquoise blue water to explore. A short walk along the beach and you find yourself on Priory Bay. ‘Treasure Island ‘ always comes to mind as you turn the corner from Seagrove Bay into Priory Bay, a view you simply cannot get board of, and just as wonderful in the winter months, especially on those crisp winters morning - simply breath taking. Look for the many oysters and scallops that regularly get washed up from these sparkling waters. Explore along the beachline, and let the children’s imagination go wild, play cricket or boule at low tide, or just relax and enjoy a delicious picnic. The Boathouse looks straight across the Solent to Portsmouth and the Spinnaker Tower, and the famous Solent forts. It is only a short walk into Seaview where you will find The Old Fort a newly refurbished gastro pub, AA award winning Seaview Hotel, Seaview Yacht Club, the wonderful Lily's Cafe, the new Lime & Chilli Indian restaurant (bring your own bottle), chemist, post office, community store stocked with delicious local produce, and a couple of boutique shops. Shop, Pub and Restaurant 1.6 miles by car or just a short walk along the beach, or costal path which is directly outside of your rear gate. Nearest beach 0.0 miles, Ryde 3.6 miles by car. Outside of Seaview discover English Heritage’s Carisbrooke Castle and Osbourne House. Take the family to Dinosaur Isle and the activity parks at Blackgang Chine and Robin Hill Country Park. Alternately, a host of activities tempt the more adventurous visitors, such as hiking, horse riding or mountain biking across the famous Tennyson Downs all the way to the far West point of the island, discover the island’s greenery, exploring the breath-taking landscapes on route. Why not take the family and explore our caves by kayak, or challenge yourself with some paragliding from our chalk cliffs? For the water enthusiasts the island offers something for the whole family, from sailing, paddle boarding, kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking.
