The Space: Your home-away-from-home is located in the sparkling, stylish planned community of The Meadows in Castle Rock, where a sprawl of contemporary 3-story homes sits along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Architecturally, the home brings to mind a chic boutique hotel. The 2-car garage is conveniently accessible through a drive at the rear of the home. Entrance to the home is through the front door which faces onto a charming pedestrian pathway ambling through a short row of neighboring homes. Your front door is tucked into a covered front porch with two rocking chairs. Look up, and on the second floor you’ll spy a balcony with a table and two chairs, just begging you to sit back and take in the fresh mountain air. Step inside, and a staircase takes you to the second and main level of the home. Here, you’ll find a bright, beautifully appointed open concept living space that’s ideal for spending quality time with friends and family. The sitting area is dominated by a plush, oversized L-shaped sofa with a built-in chaise, just begging you to curl up and get comfy. Light pours through a glass pane door that leads to the balcony you admired from below. A large wall-mounted TV is easily visible from the sofa and the kitchen. The kitchen is a real beauty with elegant white cabinetry, a sleek subway tile backsplash, and the kitchen island of your dreams – HUGE, with a breakfast bar, 4 stools, built-in sink and pendant lighting overhead. You’ll find everything you need to prepare meals, from the simplest packable lunch, to indulgent, multi-course meals. Tap into your inner chef, or hire a private in-home chef for an extra-special experience. A suite of stainless-steel appliances includes double ovens, cooktop, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. The dining area seats 8, with a long and inviting table surrounded by 5 comfortable chairs and a picnic-style bench on one side. Also on this level, you’ll find a convenient half-bath and a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. Upstairs on the third floor, you’ll find 3 bedrooms, all equally welcoming and tastefully decorated. The location is unbeatable for easy access to the best of everything the region has to offer. Interstate 25 is moments away, carrying you north to Denver in under 30 minutes, or south to Colorado Springs in 40. Here, you’ll enjoy a perfect balance of wild, unspoiled nature and modern convenience. Essential shopping is just moments from home, including a supermarket, Target, and Sam’s Club, as well as The Outlets at Castle Rock. At the same time, you’re never far from state parks, open spaces, and the riches of the Rockies. Roxborough State Park is about 18 minutes away, with nearly 4,000 acres including dramatic red-rock formations and a variety of wildlife, from mule deer to black bears. Enjoy hiking, trail running, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing. Alternatively, Castlewood Canyon State Park is 19 minutes away. Getting Around: We recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation. Other Things to Note: -We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP. -Central AC units are best kept at 68 degrees or above. Due to the lack of humidity in the area if the thermostat is lowered below 68 degrees it is possible that it can freeze the unit if it is working too hard. Unfortunately, it will take 24 hours for the unit to defrost before an HVAC specialist can service it. Our evenings are generally cool in the summer time, simply opening the windows will provide extra natural coolness. -Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking. -Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area. -The TV's offer streaming services only for guest's to use their subscriptions. Just don't forget to log out! Locations of all Security Cameras: 1. Ring Doorbell Camera on front door. It is on and operating. This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited Last, it’s your vacation, so you probably don’t want a lot of RULES. So think of these more as our strong requests: - NO SMOKING inside. This includes Colorado’s newest cash crop. - We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc. - Quiet Hours begin at 10:00pm per city ordinance. Please be courteous of the neighbors during your stay. - We cannot guarantee an early check-in, as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early. Non-Refundable Damage Deposit Waiver: - Instead of charging a security deposit, Hoste charges a non-refundable $39 damage waiver fee that covers up to $2,500 for damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of your acts or omissions. Because the damage waver fee is Non-Refundable; If a Guest changes properties for any reason they may be charged a new damage waver fee for the new property at the discretion of the property Manager.
