Make some amazing family memories during your stay at this home in the heart of Massanutten Resort! Enjoy the peaceful setting and lovely views from this spacious, welcoming home. The large windows invite natural light. The kitchen has plenty of space for multiple cooks, and the tables in the kitchen and adjoining dining room provide ample space for a large group. When you're ready to wind down for the evening, you can enjoy the screened in porch or the media room which features a large screen TV, gas fireplace, and plenty of comfy reclining seating. Washer and dryer are available. SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and The Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities. This home is not affiliated with Massanutten Resort. However, it is located inside the community of Massanutten and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You'll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. The pool is a community pool for the private homes in Massanutten. It is available for use by our guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day for $6/person/day (subject to change). Pool availability is subject to, and at, the discretion of the Massanutten Property Owner Association. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort's website. **Please note due to current COVID-19 decreased capacity restrictions, some activities may sell out in advance, especially on holidays and weekends. We cannot guarantee access to the amenities and amenity closure/availability is not a refundable cancellation reason.** *You are visiting a home located in the woods, in the mountains. You will likely see insects, including flying ones, as well as arachnids. Please be aware they will come inside when doors are opened, especially when lights are on inside the home. *We are not able to honor early check in or late check out requests. *Please note, there are security cameras on the front of the house that monitor the exterior of the house only. There is also a camera in the garage and in the owners' closet.
