Summary: Seaview Cottage is a beautiful holiday home located in Skelton, near Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Sleeping up to four guests, Seaview Cottage is the perfect place for families and friends to enjoy a relaxing getaway close to the coast, so close that the North sea can be seen from the property in all its grandeur. The Space: Entering the property, you’ll turn right upon entry and be welcomed into the cosy and homely living room which features a flat screen Smart TV, as well as a spacious sofa and armchair. The room is bright throughout, yet creates a cosy retreat for a relaxing evening after exploring the area. Continue onto the dining area which can be found at the rear of the living area, and you’ll find a solid wood dining table with four chairs which creates the perfect space to enjoy an evening meal. Take a few steps and you’ll find yourself in the kitchen. The modern, cornflower blue kitchen units are contrasted perfectly with white walls and worktops. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and all cookware and dishes are provided so you’ll have everything you need for your self-catering stay. Head upstairs and you’ll find Seaview Cottage’s bedrooms. The first bedroom is a tranquil haven. The comfy bed is perfect after a long day of exploring North Yorkshire. Next is the second bedroom which has a wooden bunk bed and a cream wall. Premium bedding and plush bed linens make all of the beds even more comfortable so you’ll look forward to your sleep at Seaview Cottage. Head to the family bathroom and you’ll find a clean, bright space. With a bath and overhead shower, it is ideal for families with children. Guest Access: Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. Sea View Cottage has on street parking near the property and is on a first come first serve basis. The Neighborhood: Perfect for those looking for a relaxing escape to North Yorkshire, Seaview Cottage is located in the cosy village of Skelton. You’ll find a local pub and supermarket near the house but situated 1.5 miles south-west From Muston is the costal town of Filey. The Cleveland Way National Trail is over 100 miles long and you can join this in Saltburn. This walk is a great way to explore the North Yorkshire coastline and the views are amazing! In Saltburn, you’ll find a long stretching beach and charming town centre. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance. If you want to explore further, The Cleveland Way National Trail is over 100 miles long and you can join this in Saltburn. This walk is a great way to explore the North Yorkshire coastline and the views are amazing! The seaside village of Staithes is roughly a 20-minute drive away and Whitby can be reached in 30 minutes. Getting Around: Seaview Cottage is within 30 minutes’ drive time of Saltburn, Staithes, Sandsend, Whitby and Middlesbrough. The closest train station is Saltburn which is roughly a 10-minute drive by car so you can explore villages and towns throughout North Yorkshire easily. There are routes to Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington with connecting trains to Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester and London. There are a number of bus stops throughout Skelton.
