Welcome to your Mountain Retreat in Maine!   Located on a 2 acre lot on a quiet road, The Bailey Retreat is the perfectly private, clean, comfortable home for up to seven to unwind after a day enjoying the mountains of Maine.  This well-maintained home is conveniently located two minutes from shops and restaurants in the Bethel village and just 10 minutes to Sunday River Golf & Ski Resort.   Enter the home through a large mud room with plenty of space to store your gear.  The updated kitchen and open-concept living and dining area is ideal for entertaining your whole group.  Sunlight streams into the room year-round from the southern-facing skylights and patio doors.  Enjoy the 50-inch Roku smart TV with Sonos surround sound, providing included access to Netflix and cable channels via the Spectrum TV app.  You can also easily log in to your own streaming apps. Off the living area you will find a first-floor master, with two twin beds that easily join to form a king, and an updated full bathroom. Upstairs you have two additional bedrooms with queen beds (one with a pull-out twin trundle) and a second full bathroom.  The Bailey Retreat features a wonderful wraparound deck with grill, overlooking a large backyard.  Three mini-split heat pumps provide AC in each of the bedrooms to cool the summer months, or provide a bit of extra heat on cold nights. Other modern conveniences include three-zone heat, a fully-stocked kitchen, and blazing-fast WiFi. In addition to Sunday River, additional ski terrain and mountain biking can be found 10 minutes away as well at Mt. Abram Resort and Nordic skiing is just around the corner at Carters Cross Country Skiing.
