Southern Serenity at Smith Lake

Looking for the perfect Lake vacation? Yet hate the crowds? Southern Serenity is located 2.5miles down a dirt road inside the Bankhead National Forrest on 110ft of shoreline on a secluded cove of Smith Lake. We are on seasonal water, which means from the month of October through March the water level in our cove drops down to a mud bottom. Usually enough water is left to take the kayaks out, but if you want to take a boat out you will have to drive about 15mins down the road to the public landing to launch. Though April through September, we are at full pool and our cove is anywhere from 10' to 20' deep!
