Brick Manor (Your home away from home)

This 1900's 3000+ square foot home is built to last with 4 bedrooms 2.5 baths and a wrap around porch that can hold up to 70 people seated comfortably. Our home has plenty of backyard space and parking for up to 6 cars on a private 3 acres. Brick Manor was built in 1900 by the Jova family, owners of Jova Brickworks in nearby Roseton NY. Jova bricks were exceptionally high quality and were used to build this home, as well as the New York Public Library and the Brooklyn Navy Yard and many buildings in Newburgh. You can see the Jova bricks initialed JJJ all throughout our lovely home. You'll notice the amazing light in every bedroom shines in on the parquet floors and a mix of antique and modern furniture. There are several reading nooks in the house where you peer out over the landscaping after dinner. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and if you need more let us know as we also cater events and weddings. Guests have access to the first and second floors, front lawn, garden and front porch. The long term tenants live on a separate third floor. Their entrance is a shared entrance, outside through the rear gate and up the stairs. The house is fairly large and not included in the 3000 square feet is a separate apartment on the top floor with a shared rear entrance. This apartment is occupied by a long term tenant who has their own parking and their own fenced in 1/4 acre, separate from the property for their dogs to roam. Newburgh is very architecturally diverse with homes built by the best architects in the world. Exploring Newburgh is like exploring the annals of time with a modern urban twist. You'll find everything you need within a 5 minute drive of the manor and that includes, grocery stores, shopping centers, theaters, vineyards, hiking and even swimming. There are several landmarks along the way and if you're looking for events be sure to check our main site as we may be hosting one at a local bar or art gallery. There are several options for transportation such as the bus, and or the ferry that will take you to the Metro North for just under $3.00. You can also, fly in and out of Newburgh out Stewart International Airport. Lastly, we offer a 24 hour car service to and from the airport for up to 7 people and their luggage for a very reasonable price, just contact us to make arrangements. All events must be approved and there is an additional $1000 fee for events up to 15 people and $60 for every person after that. Their only one entrance is through the rear gate. There are pups gated off in separate space during the day. Extra towels, linens and blankets are available upon request.
