The Bourbon Belle is a newly renovated historic shotgun home in the heart of Louisville's Germantown neighborhood. The space The Bourbon Belle is one of Louisville's original shotgun homes. Louisville is known for it's preservation of these unique homes that "you could fire a shotgun from one end of the home out the other". They were built in the early 1890’s by German immigrants working in small farms and butcher shops. We worked to restore this historic property with modern conveniences and comforts while keeping the rich tradition alive. This home is 900 square feet and has 1 master bedroom and full bath, 1 queen sized sofa bed with half bath, large cozy papasan chair, fully stocked kitchen with all new appliances, 2 Smart TVs, high speed internet, back yard with patio and gas grill. Sleeps 4 comfortably, premium linens and towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner supplied. Location! Location! Our neighborhood is known for walkability, local small business, and it’s vibrance! Guest access- Free street parking in the front. Lock box on the front door will release key inside for easy check in. Small garage available in the back. No Pets, No Parties/Events please. Other things to note- Louisville is best known for it’s Bourbon tradition, Bluegrass music, and thoroughbred horse racing- the Kentucky Derby. We hope you have a chance to experience some of those traditions and also our great neighborhood bars and restaurants.
