A piece of living history, the spacious, warm interior features original hardwood floors and a stone basement dating back over 100 years. A path in the rear of the house offers an easy stroll to Lake Wassookeag. The quaint downtown of Dexter, lined with historic buildings, shops, and restaurants, is just under a mile away. The home's main living spaces are divided between two levels. The first floor features a front and back living room, kitchen, a bedroom with en suite bathroom, and a shared half-bath. Three bedrooms are located upstairs, with access to shared, full bathroom at the top of the stairs. Modern essentials include free WiFi, a full kitchen, and a private washer/dryer. A walk through Dexter will transport you back in time to the heyday of small town America. During football season, celebrate home team victories with neighbors as the team is paraded up and down the city streets in the town firetruck. Get your shopping done at Reny's on Main Street and if you're too tired to cook, the Dexter House of Pizza has the best eggplant parmesan and spaghetti. Things to Know Free WiFi Dogs welcome If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting 'Yes' to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The $20 nightly fee will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: The driveway is fairly wide and is shared with the neighboring property. Guests can park in the back of the driveway in front of the garage or by the ramp. There is room for at least two cars. Please do not park towards the front of the driveway or in front of the neighboring property. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
