All homes are deep cleaned with all surfaces wiped down, including door handles. We are also fumigating each listing with an ozone machine that is designed to kill odors, bacteria, and viruses. The Space: There are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has two queen beds and one twin. Each room has unique artwork and interior details and a cable TV. The suite also has a private bathroom with a shower. Perfect for a family or a group. Guest Access: Guests can access both of our parking lots, which are very close to the hotel. The Neighborhood: The Delaware Hotel is located on Harrison Street where you can access all the bars, restaurants, and shops! Earl's dispensary and Two Mile Brewing are just around the corner. The neighborhood itself is quiet, peaceful, and safe. Getting Around: The vast majority of our guests bring a car, as most of the activities to be enjoyed throughout the mountains are a bit further away than a walk will allow. That said, you're within walking distance to pretty much anything that is within the main Downtown Area of Leadville. There is plenty of free parking is available in our parking lot! We are a short drive to some of the best skiing in the world: -10 miles to Ski Cooper -23 miles to Copper Mountain -37 miles to Vail -39 miles to Beaver Creek -42 miles from Keystone -42 miles from Breckenridge Many of Colorado's best hikes and 14ers are also a short drive from Leadville: -Mount Elbert Trailhead is 11 miles away -Mount Massive Trailhead is 11 miles away -Mount Sherman Trailhead is 8 miles away -Turquoise Lake is only 5 miles away -Twin Lakes is 20 miles away Other Things to Note: The Delaware Hotel is a Historic Hotel dating back to 1886. While most people come to experience the historic vibe of establishment, there are a few things to remember when staying at the Delaware: -There is currently no elevator. Guest rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor, so be prepared to take the stairs! -The bathrooms are somewhat small. When the hotel was first constructed in the 1880s, there was only one bathroom per floor. There has since been a private bathroom added to every single room, but many of them are small and weren't part of the original floor plan. -No Pets. Due to the high volume of guests in the hotel, restaurant, lobby and gift shop, we do not allowed pets to stay at the Delaware. -Absolutely No Smoking - Anything - anywhere inside of the hotel. -We are a keyless, contactless hotel. Please make sure to check your email or app that you booked on for the confirmation number and door code. We are available by phone, text and usually in person if you have any questions! - The restaurant is undergoing renovations and will be open soon! - Breakfast is not included in hotel reservations, however coffee and tea will be served in the lobby (until lobby renovations take place) - As we are moving towards an eco-friendly mindset, daily linen service will not be provided, however if you require extra towels please let our housekeeping staff know and they will do their best to accommodate.
