Spacious one bedroom apartment with kitchenette
Spacious one bedroom with kitchenette
This is a spacious one bedroom apartment with a kitchenette. Equipped with everything you need for living, eating, and sleeping in comfort and style, the apartment comes with amenities: a queen bed and a twin sized daybed, both in the nicely sized bedroom, a comfortable couch and sitting area, electric fireplace, small dining table, Roku TV, wifi, luxurious bathtub and separate shower, and a shared outdoor sitting area. While the apartment is walking distance from all of the restaurants and shops in Tannersville, it is also perfect for nights in. The kitchenette is well equipped and has everything you need for basic cooking. There is a two-burner stovetop, a microwave, and fridge (note, no oven and no dishwasher.) And, it is well stocked with plates, bowls, cups, utensils, pots and pans, and cooking basics. There is also a k-cup coffee machine (including complimentary k-cups) and a french press (which you'd need to supply your own coffee for). And there is hot chocolate, tea, and sugar. The apartment is well located for activities - walking distance from everything in Tannersville, and 5 minutes from both skiing and from hiking! You will be 5 minutes to Hunter, 5 minutes to Kaaterskill Falls, 5 minutes from the Arboretum, 20 minutes to Windham, 25-30 minutes to Saugerties, Catskill and Woodstock, and a 35-40 minute drive to Kingston. There is parking behind the building, or if you're traveling without a car, the bus stop is right up the street. Recommended local spots: There are so many great places that we can’t list them all, but a few of our favorites are Last Chance for eating in, or for picking up amazing local cheese and charcuterie to take back to the apartment. Oh and they have an amazing beer selection too, if that’s your thing! Mama’s Boy Burgers for eating in or taking out, plus they serve Jane’s Ice Cream (to stay or to go…) We can never resist a stop at Selena’s Diner, where they are as nice as the food is good, and restaurants Tabla and Jessie’s Harvest House are both lovely for dining out. Topps Supermarket is just a few minutes up the road, in case you want to get groceries for eating in, and the Country Store has great coffee and a good takeout selection, along with a nice selection of things you could make back at the apartment if you didn’t want to drive to the supermarket, and they also have a great gift selection as well. Speaking of, there are other great gift shops along Main Street as well, but two of our favorites are Sundry (classy home décor) and Bones and Stones (for something utterly fantastical and unique.) There’s a good wine shop in town but we LOVE the one up the road (halfway to Hunter) called Elevated Wine & Spirits – they have such an interesting and deep selection!
