Wake up in the trees! Perched on top of a hill, you feel that you are in a forest in this newly remodeled 2 bedroom condo with new washer and dryer, new flooring and all-new kitchen appliances. Lots of parking close to your front door. Close to historic Downtown Placerville, Apple Hill, wineries, hiking trails, and 1 hour from Tahoe. Each room equipped with its own heating and air conditioning split systems. Full bath downstairs and half bath upstairs. 2 bedroom with queen beds, with new memory foam mattresses. Newley remodeled space. Very private with only one wall shared with adjoining unit that is also set up as a short-term rental. Guests have full access to the condo they booked but please be respectful to the other guest on the property. There are other condos with guest in them just like you! We are often in the area but we live in Sacramento. We are always available via phone and text. About a mile to historic downtown Placerville, 2 exits to snow parks, an hour to Tahoe, 10 minutes to the historic mining town of Coloma and white water rafting, 5 minutes to Apple Hill and the beautiful Apple Hill Golf Course. Placerville is a charming California “gold rush” town named after the placer gold deposits found in its river beds and hills in the late 1840’s. Its treasured heritage is reflected in the historical, nineteenth-century architecture of its downtown. Historic downtown Placerville serves as a gathering place for parades, celebrations, and other Historic Main Street events. Historic Main Street features unique shops, antiques, fine art galleries, and restaurants. You’ll find small town charm with a backdrop of Gold Rush history. Several wineries are minutes away. Bring the kids to Apple Hill just 3 miles up the road. This is also a great stop on your way to the slopes in Tahoe. We are taking measures to protect our guests as much as possible. Our housekeeper is certified in infectious disease control. There are noise level monitor system (Minut) in the home to help keep the sound down for the other tenants. It does not record conversation, it simply measures volume level and sends alerts to us if sound is over 70 decibels. There are motion sensor cameras installed on the exterior of the property for security of the home and to help prevent parties or unauthorized guests. If you have a party in the space we may ask you to leave for breaking the rules. Cleaning While we do a thorough cleaning between each guest stay, we kindly ask that prior to leaving, place any dishes or kitchenware into the dishwasher and start it, this helps our cleaning process. Parties/Noise To respect our quiet neighborhood, and to adhere to the laws of Placerville, we do not allow parties in the home, and we kindly ask that things are kept quiet after 10:00 pm. You do have neighbors on one side of you so please respect them while moving about the condo. Cameras We have Ring Video Doorbell cameras installed at the front door of each condo. This is for the safety of our guests. Number of Guests Please let us know the correct number of guests, if you plan on having any gatherings or visitors please let us know. Parking Limit of 2 cars. Parking is at the top of the hill and adjacent to the condo. Spaces are not designated but please park within the lines. Internet & WiFi Connect to WiFi “LAN Solo” Password “Blue7=Fork+” Check In/Check Out Check-in is after 4:00 pm and Check-out is before 11:00 am. There will be a fee of $50/hour for late checkouts. Restrooms Please do not flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet. Smoking Our home is a non-smoking home, please only smoke outside. It is dangerous to smoke inside and we can't get the smell out for days. If we find ashes from cigarettes or marijuana or the house smells of it, there will be a $200 fine. Candles We do not allow candles in the home, this is a fire hazard. Damage We understand that accidents happen. We ask that you please let us know when something is broken or damaged so that we can replace it for the next guest. Utilities: Lights / Heating We kindly ask that you switch off lights and turn off all 3 AC/heating units when leaving the home. Garbage The large blue bin in the parking lot is for guest use. Pets Pets are not allowed. Furniture Please do not rearrange furniture. We have had guests rearrange and damage the furniture and the flooring. It is also difficult for our housekeeper to put it back where it belongs. Laundry Washer and dryer are for guest use, and only for guest own laundry. Please do not launder any of our linens. Our house cleaner will do our linens. Stays over 30 Days We require our housekeeper to clean every 30 days for stays longer than 30 days. Additional cleaning fee of $75 to be billed to the guest.
