Enjoy a stunning valley view while you breathe Vermont's famous clean, fresh air from tranquil woodlands and trails surround this spacious, comfortable, artisan chalet. Gather around the fire pit and cook up s'mores and great memories. Artisan stonemason Simon Shultz created magnificent two-story stone columns that support the outside deck and, at the heart of the chalet, a spectacular three-story stone core fireplace. A charming spiral staircase connects all three floors. Picture windows and a wrap-around deck look over Hidden Valley's miles of hills, fields and streams into the next state. With 3,600 square feet of living space, and three floors, this house offers several gathering areas, including two separate living rooms, a game table area, a dining area, a sociable kitchen and a genial fire pit. Marvelous for writers, artists, retreats, reunions, small weddings, family gatherings. Great for three couples, one per floor. Furnished down to the cookbooks. There are games galore, hundreds of well-chosen books and over 300 movies on DVD. Outside, play horseshoes, corn hole, or badminton. CREATIVE STUDIO (behind the chalet) The newly-renovated 350 sq. ft. creative studio is ideal for work-from-homers, artists, meditation, yoga or prayer. It's furnished with a desk, HDMI monitor, comfy chairs, Zoom-ready high-speed internet, an Ethernet connection, an Alexa, chalet phone extension, a 65” ROKU-ready WiFi TV, an electric ambiance fireplace and a relaxing view of the meadow behind the studio. There is no powder room or running water. Connects to the house high-speed WiFi. Perfect for confidential work from home. Rental: $45/night, two night minimum, plus $25 cleaning fee. Sleeping accommodations: The total number of beds in the chalet are: one twin bed, one single daybed, two queen beds, one king bed, two queen sofa beds. The ground floor bedroom has a twin and a queen bed. The main floor bedroom has a queen bed. The third floor bedroom has a king-size bed with a Nectar mattress. The chalet has two separate livings rooms; one on the ground floor, with a queen sofa bed and a single daybed, and one on the main floor with a queen sofa bed.
