THE KEATS RETREAT  Welcome to your next relaxing getaway in the stunning Pocono mountains. We have thoughtfully and thoroughly designed our home to accommodate you and provide you with an exceptional experience at the Keats Retreat. As we begin our journey, you’ll first pull into the expansive driveway that has the capacity to fit roughly 10 cars. Our home is surrounded by mature trees and lush vegetation which welcomes the local whitetail deer throughout the day. The property is a total of 1.02 acres which expands to the right side of the home. On the ground level, there is a great spot to hang out under the front deck with two hanging swings. Off to the right is the fire pit area which has a propane fireplace and there is also an area for the hammock. As you enter the home through the ground floor you’ll walk directly into the gaming area. The gaming area has an air hockey table, foosball table, board games, and the first of 3 different living areas. There is a large sectional here which turns into a comfortable sofa bed, a TV area with a DVD player, and an Xbox. Off of this room is the garage which houses the ping pong table, the washer and dryer, and the golf cart (available to rent for an extra fee). As you continue upstairs, you’ll land on the second floor which is the main living and hang out area. NOTE: When you stay at the Keats Retreat, you’ll first enter the home on the second floor which is where the main lock is located. This floor has the main living area which has a super comfortable couch, loveseat, and a chair and half. There is also a large ottoman, propane fireplace, and a 65” Smart TV. The Smart TV has access to all of your favorite streaming channels, you just have to log into your account and enjoy. Off of the living room is the dining area and the kitchen. The dining area has a table that can easily fit 4 people and a high chair for your little one. The kitchen is well equipped with all that you could possibly need to feel right at home. Through the sliding glass doors is the four seasons room with a sitting area and also another dining area. If you are having a stay of up to 12 people, there is now enough space to fit everyone for dinner. The floors in the four seasons room are radiant heat which is lovely for those winter days. There is also another deck off of this room which has a gas grill. Additionally, on this floor are the first 2 of 4 bedrooms and a full bathroom. Bedroom #1 has a queen sized bed, a sitting area, large closet and fully carpeted. Bedroom #2 has a twin bed, full bed, and is also fully carpeted. Lastly, moving up to the third floor is the last of the living areas, or the loft. The loft is a great spot to hang out as it has two chairs, more games, and another sleeper sofa. Off of the loft is a balcony which is an ideal spot to hang out in the mornings and sip on your coffee or tea. There is another full bathroom on this level as well as the last two bedrooms. Bedroom #3 is the kids room which has two bunk beds, a chair swing, and a crib. Bedroom #4 is the biggest of them all and has a king bed, a sitting area, ceiling fan, large closet, and vaulted ceiling. We are so excited for your next stay at the Keats Retreat. During the summer season boats can be rented. The lake is stocked with fish periodically. (PA license is required). Currently there is a catch and release rule in effect. Adjacent to the lake and pool is the Community Center.
