You'll love this newly renovated, thoughtfully designed carriage house apartment. Located in Historic West Village, this is your quiet escape to rest or work while visiting the city. Want to exercise? Take a ride on our brand new Peloton. If you need some air you are a short stroll to Belle Isle Park or the burgeoning retail districts along Agnes and Kercheval. Only a 10-minute drive to downtown means you have the best of both worlds, access to the city's core and the relaxing calm of the neighborhoods. Come stay in this truly unique space! THE SPACE: You will have a private entrance with contactless check-in using a unique door code. The door is located on the front of the rear building, meaning you will walk past the main house and to the carriage house. Don't worry, lights will be on along the path and above the door in case you are coming and going at night. All three rooms are in a large room with tall ceilings and ample natural light. In this room, you will find a 50-inch television, a classic record player, a dining table, and a kitchen with all of your basic cooking needs. We will provide tea and coffee packets along with sugar and creamer. This room also features a Peloton exercise bike! You will sleep soundly in our extremely comfortable queen bed surrounded by plenty of natural light in the window-lined bedroom. This room has a standing mirror in case you need to get ready along with a dresser and closet for clothes. IN the closet are extra linens, pillows, cleaning supplies, and the iron and board. You'll also have a small desk to work from. The bathroom is well lit and very spacious. We provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash in a wall dispenser in the shower. There is also a standing washer and dryer with a clothes hamper in the bathroom. Detergent is located under the sink as is the hairdryer. REST AND RECHARGE: Bed 1: Queen Bed THE AREA: We are more than happy to offer our recommendations about the local area and answer any questions you have about the unit or the complex itself. You can reach us through the Airbnb conversation thread, or you can speak to our 24/7 Guest Experience Department. OCCUPANCY: This unit allows 2 overnight guests (up to 3 total with fee/host’s approval. Feel free to have guests over, however, in compliance with the city regulations, there cannot be more than 3 people overnight the unit at any given time. Over occupancy may result in eviction. PARKING: This location does not provide designated parking, however, there is free street parking.  GATHERINGS: We know you are coming to Detroit to have a good time, but out of respect to the other tenants and neighbors, this property has a strict “No Party” policy. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit. SMOKING: Smoking of any kind is not allowed in the unit. There will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in your apartment during your reservation period. MINIMUM AGE: Guests named on the reservation must be 18 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity and authority to enter into a contract. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: Check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 11am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply. SECURITY: For security reasons, there are audio/video recording cameras in the common areas of the building and outside of the building. There are no recording devices inside the unit.
