Fun is waiting for you in the vintage Mountain Room with large family style dining table, bean chairs children will love, TV,  yoga mats and games.  The guest bedroom on the main level offers a Tanginika King wood sleigh bed, bureau, closet and full length mirror. Across the hall from the main floor bedroom is a spacious, beautiful full bathroom, offering luxurious spa-like bath with plenty of fresh new towels, tub/shower,  vanity and cabinet for extra towels and toiletries. The upstairs offers 2 guest bedrooms named Sunrise and Sunset, both offer Queen beds, abundant closets. A note from the owners Hello and Welcome to The Blythe Cottage.  We live on Folly Beach, SC and have always dreamed of owning a home in the NC Mountains, specifically walking distance to downtown. Why Hendersonville? Well, for many reasons, as children we both traveled to Hendersonville with our families, we love the town's resounding charm, the many local restuarants, cafes, shoppes, the festivals and we love the location nestled in the heart of the Western North Carolina Mountains.    We bought this home largely due to the location and proximity to family, but we also fell under the spell of the Blythe Cottage from its first owner, Dennis Blythe in the 1960's. Dennis was the son of the Blythe family whose large white house sits on the hill. Both houses are listed in the National Historic Registry.  The previous owners who lovingly and thoughtful renovated the home added many of the features to be enjoyed like the Mountain Room, the gas fireplace, gardens and the outdoor gathering area under the pergola.  We have enhanced their careful work with updated furnishings and amenities so that our visits to the cottage will be ust as enjoyable as we hope yours will be.   Let yourself fall under the spell of the Blythe Cottage in the Historic West District of Hendersonville and find yourself charmed, relaxed and happy.
