Eastsound Shores

Newly Remodeled, our custom home overlooks the Salish Sea. Spacious and impeccably furnished, it is a perfect rendevous for family gatherings. Just a few minutes to Eastsound, you're in the heart of the island. Hiking, golfing, shopping, cafes are easy from this elegant home base. Enjoy expansive decks, an incredible kitchen, and cozying up with a fire, games, and wet bar. Each bedroom ensuite includes a luxury bathroom. With Fiber Optics and 3-person desk area, remote work and school are easy. We offer speeds up to 80mbps but can increase our plan for your stay. Please ask ahead of time! The Master bedroom includes a king bed, gas fireplace and seating for two, a desk, a walk-in closet, and a beautiful master bathroom. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub, walk-in shower, double vanity, radiant floor heat, and water closet. There are two guest bedrooms downstairs. One has a King bed, walk-in closet, reading area, and full bathroom ensuite. The bathroom is custom tiled with double vanity, radiant floor heat, and a modern, custom-tiled shower. The second guest bedroom downstairs has a Queen bed, a daybed, reading area, walk-in closet, and full bathroom ensuite. Both guest bathrooms have walk-in showers, double vanity, and a toilet. The fourth bedroom is off of the main level and entry area. It sleeps four with a bunk bed and twin trundle bed. The "Kid's" room has a full tub/shower combo, single vanity, and toilet. There is also a half bathroom for day use. The kitchen has brand new appliances and beautiful countertops. With a large kitchen island, every kind of accouterment, and a dedicated clean-up area, special meals are made easy. The oversized dining table can host those special get-togethers with friends and family. Sliding doors open to a full outdoor dining area and BBQ. Enjoy fabulous views of the water and wildlife with two large tables and seating for everyone. The living room is the heart of the house. With a gas fireplace, large Roku TV, game table, and wet bar, it is the perfect place to gather with family. With large sliding glass doors, the balcony offers luxury outdoor seating and incredible views of the water and island. All three bedrooms (Master, King Guest Bedroom, and Queen Guest Bedroom) have balconies and comfortable seating, so the beautiful environment outdoors is always close at hand. Working remotely is a pleasure at Eastsound Shores. There is a dedicated workstation with outlets and Fiber Optic connection for multiple devices. Set up your laptops and extra monitors without having to pack away during your stay! With a large laundry and brand new washer and dryer, extended stays and groups can stay on top of keeping everything clean. Eastsound Shores is a waterfront property! We have a winding, forested trail that goes all the way down to the water's edge. You'll find a unique piece of rocky shore and private sandy beach that you are allowed to use. The trail does not lend itself to bringing a kayak or boats to the water's edge. Along the trail there are sets of stairs that must be climbed, so children must always be supervised. We ask that guests have fun exploring but please stay on the trail and take responsibility for your well-being and other members of your travel party. As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely.com to provide you with protection for accidental damages during your stay. The cost of this protection has been included in your rental rate and fees. Normally I enjoy greeting guests upon arrival but due to COVID 19, I do allow for contactless Check Ins. We ask guests to arrive within a reasonable hour, ferry delays not withstanding. As your on-island host, I am available for support 8am-5pm daily, and 24/7 support for emergencies. Eastsound Shores is located in a quiet, rural neighborhood. With large wooded lots, you can not see any neighboring homes. We do have a long-term rental home on the property. There is a large fence for privacy and private parking that is set apart. You'll be given a code for the front and side doors which have Smartlock Deadbolt systems. No keys to lose! Orcas Island is best explored by private vehicle. If you are arriving by plane then there are rental cars available, and a public shuttle, as well as taxi services.
