Petite Martinique A Rural Eco Friendly Stay

You are truly in a rural paradise set on top of a ridge overlooking rolling hills and the township of Gympie in the distance. The property backs onto Goomborian National Park and has plenty of space to roam and explore the Australian bush lifestyle. You are likely to see Kangaroos jumping around the property and plenty of other wildlife. Hidden down a 3.3km dirt track, which will require an AWD or 4WD vehicle, you are definitely removing yourself from the hustle and bustle. Only 45mins from Rainbow Beach, Petite Martinque is a great stop over on your way to Fraser Island and beyond. 1 hour from Sunshine Coast airport and 20mins into Gympie. 3 Bedroom mud brick house with 1 bathroom, wonderful covered outdoor terrace with outdoor kitchen, pool & many fruit trees (Mangoes, Bananas, Lychees, Macadamias, Guavas and Citrus). The house is on rain water, solar power and septic, creating an eco experience. We are only a phone call or text message away. We are close by in a cottage located on the property about 300m from the house. 20 mins out of Gympie off Tin Can Bay road. You will need an AWD or 4WD to get in and out of the property down a 3.3kms dirt track that gets bumpy. Just when you think you are lost you head around a corner and there’s the front gate! The house is in a protected area and therefore no fires, no pets & no smoking. Minimum Age Requirement is 25 years old to book. We have video surveillance at the property externally with all cameras pointing to external door entries. There is no video surveillance internally and the cameras are not turned off once guests arrive and back on after they depart. Age Requirement: Min Age to book is 25 years old and above PLEASE NOTE: This is a quiet community, perfect to relax and enjoy, so please no loud noise, no parties & no pets. Quiet Hours are between: 10PM and 8AM. We are in constant contact with the surrounding neighbours who will let us know if there is any disturbances. NO SMOKING: Strictly NO smoking inside, on the balcony or in any outside areas. PENALTIES: If any damage is caused, smoking takes place or there is evidence of a party there will be a $250 penalty plus we will request the repair costs plus the extra cleaning costs. If a guest coming in needs to be moved to another property due to the damage or smell of smoke still being present, we will also request the cost of that nights stay. Please respect these rules. Lastly, all bookings will require a check-in form completed prior to arrival. The form will require photo ID verification of the main guest and all the names and contact details of all guest over 2yrs due to COVID-19 contact tracing requirements, plus you will need to agree to our terms and conditions.
