The Neighborhood: The property is located within walking distance to Glasgow Green and the more vibrant Merchant City. There are a vast range of bars, restaurants, cafes and general nightlife in the Merchant City. The apartment is well located, within a short driving distance to many local theatres, museums and universities (including Strathclyde Technology and Innovation Centre). There are some local shops just 3 minutes walk from the property including Co-op grocery store, a baker and butchers. A trip on the open topped bus will give a great insight into the culture and history of the city. These buses can be found in George Square. Getting Around: You can walk into the city centre in 15-20 minutes. There are good public transport links from nearby Ballater Street, with various buses running from here into the City Centre, as well as to the East End of Glasgow. Bridge Street underground station is about 10 minutes walk and provides easy access to the entire city. There are plenty of black cabs in Glasgow that you can wave down if they have their yellow light on. Uber also operates in Glasgow if you have the app. Glasgow International Airport is about 20 minutes in a cab and will cost about £20. Other Things to Note: Please note, check in is not available on the 25th of December and the 1st of January.
