Bedroom 4: With zip and link twin beds (can be super kingsize on request), single sofa bed (for flexible sleeping arrangements), Smart TV and en-suite with shower over bath, and toilet. Whitehouse Country House enjoys a stunning location just a few minutes from St Boswells in the heart of the Scottish Borders, arguably one of the country’s most beautiful settings. With rolling views over the countryside, guests will be sure to enjoy a dip in the private hot tub in a chilly evening before retiring in front of a roaring open fire. The house is perfectly suited for 12 guests in the five bedrooms. Four of the bedrooms enjoy luxury specification, four piece bathrooms with deep baths and generous size showers. Almost all the baths enjoy open views over the countryside - with no neighbours in sight, there’s no need for window frosting or blinds here. The smaller single room has use of it’s own bathroom in addition to having a wash basin in the bedroom, typical of a traditional property of this stature. The extensive living areas provide two living rooms, one is the ideal TV room while the other and somewhat grander room lends itself to evenings of memory making. A formal dining room will comfortably seat 14 and tables can be separate or joined, depending on guest preferences. Within the kitchen you’ll find everything you would need to either prepare family feasts, meals and snacks, or have the caterers round to make something special. For those who fancy it, the Aga range stove does a superb roast, however there is an easy to use electric cooker as back up. Fear not, the dishwasher is there so no need to fight over who is washing up and who’s drying. Whitehouse Country House will definitely be a place to make some memories and provides a real flavour of how special living in the Borders really is.
