Villa Nanicky is perfectly situated in the center of Golfe-Juan, in front of the port. A few minutes walk from sandy beaches, restaurants, shopping and bars. From the terrace you have a nice view over the port. Very large roof top terrace. In the garden you can do your BBQ dinner under the shade of a sail hanging between the high trees. Spice it with some fresh ingredients from the kitchen garden. Sit 10 persons outside in the garden and enjoy dinner. After dinner we usually take a walk to some of the bars in the port. It is 100 meter to walk, takes just a few minutes. Still the position is not noisy, the restaurants are facing the sea. The terrace on first floor is perfect for a sunny breakfast, while the roof top terrace has the last evening sun. Next to the position in Golfe Juan, what we like most is the easy access: 27 minutes by train from Nice airport. The villa is a 5 minute walk from the train/bus station in Golfe-Juan, along the sea side promenade. You don´t have to arrive by car, take the bus or train from the airport. Still, if you want to arrive with car, there are parking place for 3-4 cars behind an electric gate. Golfe-Juan is in the Middle of French Riviera. Next to Cannes,only 5 minutes by train. Antibes and Juan-les-Pines is even closer. We love to walk to Juan-les-Pines and Antibes, also to Cannes. About the villa: Villa Nanicky is a urban villa with a small garden area, dedicated for BBQ-cooking and entertainment. The villa was buildt 1958 by a film personality and still maintains the original art déco style, both in interior and exterior. The villa was totally renovated 2020 with new kitchen, wc/shower, full air condition in all bedrooms and living room. About Golfe-Juan: Golfe-Juan is a seaside resort situated between Juan-les-Pines (1,6 km) and Cannes (4 km). In the center of the town is the big port with many yachts and sailing boats. Along the marina is the pittoresque promenade filled with bars and restaurants. On both sides of the marina there are sandy, public beaches. The train station is in the center of town, close to the marina. Everything is very easy to reach from the Villa Nanicky. You start the morning with a short walk to some of the small bakeries, perhaps taking a cup of coffee in the port in some of the many cafées and bars. The sandy, child-friendly beaches are very close, just a few minutes walk from the house . For dinner there are many, many restaurant to choose from, all in walking distance. About the towns nearby: Golfe-Juan is in the middle of one of the world´s most exciting areas – the French Riviera. Take the train and after 5 minutes you get off in Cannes. Take the train in the other direction and you have Antibes, Nice, Monte Carlo and Italy – the border is only 60 kilometers (40 miles) to the east. From the port you can also take the ferry to St Tropez and the islands outside Golfe-Juan and Cannes. The good connections to Cannes (4 km to west, 5 minutes on train) makes Villa Nanicky a very good base for visitors to MIPIM, the Cannes Film Festival and Cannes Lions.
