Le Sanctuaire Manor House has a 2 bedroom self contained gite in the South Wing and we are renting it out for the first time! Called La Reau gite, it has just been renovated. La Reau is no ordinary gite though. We've created a new category of supergite. From the furnishings, to luxury amenities and experiences, Le Sanctuaire supergite is the perfect place to relax or explore France. Built from the local stone of a 12th century Abbey, Le Sanctuaire gite has two bedrooms, a living room with TV and fireplace, fully equipped kitchen (microwave, cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee makers) and bathroom. Guests can also enjoy the wood-fired hottub on request and our outdoor dining area with pizza oven. The grounds are set across three acres and the house is situated on the cross roads of three walking trails that stretch for miles across open countryside. Located just a few minutes from the beautiful village of Mauprevoir (bar, convenience store and boulangerie), Le Sanctuaire is situated in a small hamlet of four houses offering peace and tranquility with stunning views across beautiful countryside. Two bikes are available to use as well as a vintage Schwinn tandem. Le Sanctuaire also has a gym and one of only a handful of Peloton bikes in France. La Reau contains a guitar and records for your enjoyment, Amazon Alexa, a smart cooler as well as games and books with wifi coverage throughout. Explore beautiful towns and villages, from Limoges to Poitiers and the charming village of Mortemart which is listed as one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France. Looking for experiences? From the motor racing circuit nearby, to exhibitions in Chateau de Rochechouart, to ziplining, Valley of the Monkeys, Futuroscope, beautiful gardens, Chateaux galore, local markets and so much more. And of course amazing food. Le Sanctuaire Manor House is owned by a world renowned makeup artist and we can even provide makeovers (please inquire!) which would make the perfect romantic gift for your partner. This gite has 2 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 4. Both rooms contain double beds. Please note, another 2 bedroom gite (Le Clain) is also available. Both can be booked together. There is one bathroom with shower. Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable. All guests receive a welcome basket with local produce and bubbles! House Rules: - Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 11am. - Smoking is not allowed. - There are on-site parking facilities available at the property. - Pets are allowed on a case by case basis.(Please note a dog also lives on the property). - No parties.
