Indoor Living The Shambles is a family favourite with many guests returning to enjoy the ample space and luxury finishings. The features of the lodge and family friendly focus make it a great choice for multi generational families. With large living spaces, combining your holiday with your friends or extended family is a great option. The Shambles has been furnished and adorned in high end finishings and you will love the attention to detail and real homely feel. Anta lovers will quickly spot many key and bespoke pieces throughout the property, some stunning artwork adorns the wall spaces, and reclaimed furniture fills every room. With two living rooms, both with wood burning stoves, you can choose which room you want to settle in for a relaxing evening. A cosy lounge downstairs is a great spot for a dram in front of the fire while the airy upstairs lounge which has a large selection of board games and DVDs makes it a great space for sociable games or movie night. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with lots of tableware and plenty of space for all of your guests - it has patio doors that lead out into the back garden to the luxury hot tub. The master kingsize bedroom has an additional child's bed - just for families who might need it. It also has an ensuite shower room. On the ground floor, there is a king size room with an ensuite, a twin room and a single room with a pull out trundle bed which makes it a comfortable double. Outdoor Living The garden is fully enclosed, perfect if you are looking for a dog friendly lodge. Children will also love to use this space - a lovely playhouse will keep them entertained for hours on end. The decked area has ample seating for outdoor dining and the BBQ hut will comfortably seat the whole party inside it. A great idea for when the sun goes down. A luxury lodge in Aviemore wouldn’t be complete without a hot tub, and this one is first class. The Shambles is in a fantastic location and offers easy access to the Aviemore orbital route and Speyside way which means your holiday lodge is just a stone's throw from the countryside and River Spey. Walks and bike rides are literally on the doorstep, and the shops and restaurants that Aviemore offers are only a 15 to 20 minute walk away. Availability The Shambles is able to offer full weeks Friday to Friday or Monday to Monday, and some weekend breaks Friday to Monday, Midweeks Monday to Friday. We are delighted to welcome you to The Maltings at 4pm. Departure is required at 10am on your departure day. A £300 Breakage/Damage refundable deposit is required before arrival and is refunded 7 days after departure. Children Welcome The Shambles is family friendly and includes stair gates, stools for little ones, a games area, board games and guides for Family Friendly local activities. The large garden is enclosed. We have a cot and a high chair for your use, and a linen pack is provided. In the kitchen, you will find plenty of childrens cutlery and plates for dinner time. We have provided fire guards and socket protectors for your child’s safety. We hope your kids enjoy the extras we have here at The Shambles. Pets and Dogs welcome Two well behaved dogs are welcome at a fee of £30 each per stay. Please contact us if you have more than two dogs. The rear garden is enclosed and the side garden is also enclosed with a low level fence and wall. On the ground floor, there is a living room styled in Anta furnishings with a wood burning stove. A large kitchen also hosts a breakfast bar, dining table and small sofa. There is a utility room with washer and a dryer. Further along on the ground floor, there is a family bathroom with bath/shower, twin room, double en suite and a single room that kids will love - this room comes with additional pull out single trundle bed ( sleeps 2). Upstairs is another spacious lounge and doors open out onto a deck, with additional wood burning stove and a large Anta styled master bedroom ensuite. 1. No smoking or illegal activity 2.
