East Dover, NS is a lovely, quiet community located right on the Atlantic with amazing ocean views and lovely places for walking. Breathe in the fresh air, enjoy walks along the many trails and coast lines in the area...or take just an 8 minute drive to picturesque Peggy's Cove. By car we're approximately 30 minutes from downtown Halifax. Our property is located in the heart of the cove where you'll see an abundance of wildlife throughout the spring, summer, and fall. The cottage is nice and bright during the day, with large windows in each room (the pictures don't do it justice) and a private entrance, with parking on site. Once night falls, prepare to be amazed as you look to the night sky where you'll see more stars than you've ever seen before. Truly a site you need to see, to believe. Getting around: If you're an avid golfer the nearest course is just 10 min drive away at Granite Springs. You'll find the nearest major grocery stores / shopping centres or places for amenities on the outskirts of Halifax at Bayers Lake. The nearest gas station is 10 minutes from the cottage, located on the same route you'd take to get to major shopping centres or downtown Halifax. It is suggested that you stock up on anything you might need, as the nearest convenience store is about a 10 minute drive, and they may not stock everything you are looking for. It's totally worth it for the peace and quiet though! Your time here will be filled with long-lasting memories...we're sure you'll want to come back and visit us again soon. A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in.
