The property is an ideal base for a small family, small group of friends or three couples seeking a relaxing break in the Cotswolds. Be greeted by two convenient off-road parking spaces, where you can leave your vehicle and enter the property through the back door into the little porch which is ideal for kicking off your muddy boots, as you walk into the property and see the lovely dual aspect sitting room in front of you which has an abundance of character including striking exposed oak beams, exposed Cotswold stone and flagstone flooring in one half of the room with a large inglenook fireplace home to a warming woodburning stove to warm you up on a cold winter evening. Head through the lovely beamed hallway and into the kitchen/diner, where you will find everything you need to cook up a delicious meal whilst listening to your favourite tunes through the iPhone music player, before retreating with your guests to the extendable wooden dining table to enjoy your heart-warming meal. To discover the upper floors of the property, take the narrow, wooden spiral staircase that has a handrail in the centre and fixed stairgates at the top and bottom, where you will find two well-presented bedrooms; the master is a spacious, dual aspect room with elm floorboards and an inviting king-size bed, with plenty of storage for your belongings as well as an en-suite shower room, the second bedroom at the other end of the property is another spacious dual aspect room with striking oak beams and elm flooring, containing a king-size bed and a quaint ornamental inglenook fireplace. Sharing its floor with these bedrooms is the bathroom which is a light and airy space where you can enjoy a relaxing soak amongst the bubbles. A second steep, narrow, spiral staircase leads you up to the eaves of the cottage where you will be greeted by the attractive oak beams and exposed wooden flooring, this room contains twin beds and a three-seater sofa, with built-in storage space. There is a beautiful enclosed garden at the back of the cottage, comprising of lawn and patio areas, with an outdoor table and plenty of seating, as well as a barbecue and a selection of children’s outdoor toys for you to make use of. A handy outhouse which sits within the garden and contains a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer so you and your guests can go home with a bag of clean washing!
