We offer something a little different than other properties in Cumbria providing our guests with a personalised, flexible and enjoyable stay in the heart of the Lake District. The Space: Helm View offers an open plan living, kitchen dining area to the first floor of the property with a double bedroom and ensuite located on the lower floor, outside there is a large terrace area with bi-fold doors and seating in order to soak up the stunning views of the fells. The apartment has undergone full refurbishment and is now looking forward to welcoming guests to the property! The Property benefits from one allocated parking space adjacent to the property Guest Access: Guest's are able to use the whole property throughout their stay and the large terrace area, with far reaching fell views. Interaction with Guests: We will be available 24/7 should you require anything during your stay The Neighborhood: Helm view is located in a popular and quiet area of Ambleside with far reaching views of the central fells yet less than a 5 minute walk from the busting lakeland town of Ambleside and all local amenities including shops, bars and restaurants. Ambleside is considered to be the hub of the Lake District, which can all be explored directly from the door including England's largest lake - Lake Windermere. Getting Around: Public Transport is available from Kelsick Road, Ambleside Helm View has one private parking space above the properties terrace. Other Things to Note: Covid-19 Flexible Cancellation In an uncertain world we want to be as honest and reasonable regarding your booking with us and put a simple mechanism in place should you not be able to enjoy your trip to the Lake District. Should a local lockdown in the Lake District or another national lockdown occur meaning you are unable to visit, a date change will be offered in the first instance followed by a full refund if not possible. Should the Lake District remain 'officially open' but you are unable to travel due to local restrictions in your area, following cancellation we will release the property for resale and refund any monies earned for the new reservation to you directly. We are proud to support the Lake District Foundation with £1.00 of each booking being directly donated to this Local Charity. The Lake District Foundation uses the donations to gives grants to effective projects that help to care for the landscape, wildlife and cultural heritage of the Lake District and Cumbria, and keep it special.
