You are welcomed onto the property grounds by off-road parking for up to four cars, before you unload your luggage in though the entrance hall and kick off your shoes as you enter the impressive, open-plan living space where you can look forward to relaxing with your loved ones on the welcoming sofas as you overlook the far-reaching views of the fields beyond through the floor-to-ceiling windows, whilst the woodburning stove, that separates the sitting area from the dining area creates a gentle glow in the room and keeps you toasty. The budding chef of the group will have no problem rustling up a delicious evening meal in the large, well-equipped kitchen, making use of the electric oven and six-ring gas hob as the rest of the party lay the large wooden dining table, ready to tuck into your wonderful meal. Conveniently located on the ground-floor is a well-presented double bedroom with a Jack-and-Jill en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower; whoever stays in this room will be delighted with the French doors that lead out into the garden! Retreating up the grand oak staircase to the first floor, you will find a second sitting room that offers beautiful views over the garden and fields and has contemporary seating and a large wooden writing desk; the perfect space for some peace and quiet. A choice of three bedrooms rest of this floor; the master, located at the far end of the house, has a stunning exposed Cotswold stone wall and contains a king-size bed, with ample wardrobe space and an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, the second bedroom is perfect for children and contains twin beds, and the third is a flexible room, containing a king-size bed which is zip/link and can be made up to twin beds on request, with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC. Once you’ve laid your head for some rest for the night, wake up with an invigorating rinse in the walk-in shower in the bathroom or better yet, a satisfying soak amongst the bubbles in the freestanding bath. Enjoy your breakfast alfresco in the beautifully landscaped garden whilst taking in the fresh country air, and look forward to making use of the charcoal barbecue later on in the evening! Pick up your supplies at Chedworth Farm Shop, which is right on your doorstep, where you can buy groceries, enjoy a cup of tea and cake and even have a cooked breakfast, Sunday dinner or take away fish and chips if you arrive late! Town: Chedworth is an attractive historic village in Gloucestershire. The village has two friendly pubs and is home to one of the largest Roman villas in Britain. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the excellent scenic walks from the village including The Monarch’s Way and The Macmillan Way. Ideally located in the centre of the Cotswolds, popular towns including Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford can all be discovered whilst staying in Chedworth. The market town of Cirencester and regency spa town Cheltenham are both easily accessible and have a variety of visitor attractions to explore. A wonderful base for a holiday in the Cotswolds.
