Beautiful 3 bedroom house Stockwell central London

Welcome to my home! It is a beautiful ground floor duplex flat refurbished by me and by my own design with a particular focus on providing my Airbnb guests a wonderful stay. I wanted to create a place that I personally would wish to stay in and I hope you love it as much as I do. Coupled with this, my immediate neighbours are all personal friends of mine so you can be sure of a warm welcome to the village of South Lambeth. There is x1 parking space beside the house on the drive :0) The space The house has quite recently been turned into a 'smart house' and has all mod' con's you would expect including numerous USB power sockets outlets to charge mobile phones placed strategically around every room, a data network for hardwired connections to laptops for those that may need a wardwired connection and the smart TV's in every room as well as an Eero ' mesh' wireless network providing blanket coverage around the entire house! The smart TV's are connected to the network so you can instantly access your chosen TV viewing or the internet. The upstairs part of the house has a Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery system (MVHR) pushing fresh air into the bedrooms and extraction in the wet room, bathroom and toilet. With the advent of Covid-19 good ventilation is ever more important so this helps. In the living room you will find find a contemporary setting with an essence of the east. There's a 60" smart TV, comfortable four seater dining table with room for more chairs if needed and a separate two seater bar table and stools beside the window looking out over the garden. The whole house has been furnished with Dwell furniture which is renowned for being stylish and modern and includes a comfortable corner sofa and footstool. Beautiful varied modes of lighting create any mood you wish for. I wanted to create a boutique feel to each bedroom so adorned each room with geometric colour on the headboard walls courtesy of Cole & Son . Each bedroom has a luxuriously comfortable mattress with deluxe bedding to provide an excellent nights sleep, a smart TV, a trouser press for our business guests, a hairdryer, luggage rack to pop your suitcase on as well as plenty of storage space. Each room has two lighting circuits including beautiful ambient lighting switched by the bed in bedrooms 1 & 2. The curtains have blackout lining keep out street light. The curtains are operated by remote controlled electric curtain rails. *Please note that the mattresses may contain latex. The duvets are made of duck feathers in bedroom one and Siberian goose down in bedrooms two and three for the comfort of our guests. The mattresses are memory foam in bedroom one and sprung mattresses in bedrooms two and three. There is one complete family bathroom and a separate wet room with a shower and washbasin. You will find a pair of bath towels and bath sheets for each room, and general use shampoo and shower gel. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need including double ovens, washing machine, fridge/ freezer and dishwasher. There is a integrated microwaves next to the oven. There's a kettle, several cafetieres to make fresh coffee and a toaster. There are drawers of cutlery and china- more than you could ever need to use so feel free to fill up the dishwasher. You could cook an entire Sunday lunch in this kitchen with the equipment provided :0) I know from experience after a long journey I'm gasping for a hot drink so tea, coffee, sugar and milk will be provided as well as an array of cereals for breakfast. Our nearest shop is the Co-Op local visible from the front door of the house and our nearest restaurant for a sit down or take away pizza is the Stockwell Continental two doors along from the Co-Op. If you book with us I'll point them out to you :0) Guest access It is a mere 8 minute walk to the river Thames and Vauxhall Bridge from where you can see the Houses of Parliament and London Eye to the east and Battersea Power Station and Pimlico to the west. This house is in a great location with easy access to the West End and the most popular sights of central London. The towns of Clapham, Brixton, Vauxhall and Stockwell surround Selway House. There are buses that pass literally just outside the door on both sides of South Lambeth Road. Stockwell tube station is a mere 4 minute walk so you can can be in Oxford Street in 15 minutes for example. Stockwell Tube Station is unusual as we have x2 tubes lines passing through- the Northern Line and the Victoria line so you've got exceptional transport links! There are Boris bikes outside the door so if you're feeling adventurous they are very cheap and easy to operate. If you come by car, the house has a drive beside the house for the exclusive use of guests. There is also free parking on South Lambeth Road but you may need to be patient when looking for a space. Other things to note As a separate cautionary note, many Airbnb hosts have experienced problems with noisy guests particularly this year. Airbnb have tightened the booking criteria, particularly for younger guests requiring several positive reviews so if your booking is cancelled by Airbnb please phone them to ask why. My house is in a very quiet neighbourly block so if you know you are going to need somewhere to party into the early hours after the clubs close may home may not be the most suitable option..............
