Maltings House is a stylish and generous holiday house, located in the ever popular village of Milton Abbas and just a short stroll away from The Hambro Arms. The house is ideal for large families or groups of friends gathering together for holidays and special occasions, with plenty of space and amenities for everyone. The property has been designed and furnished to accept up to ten guests in comfort, and offers an open-plan sitting and dining room with inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove. There is a well-equipped kitchen with electric range cooker and large island with breakfast stools. On the ground floor there is also a family room with television along with a double bedroom, a shower room, a separate cloakroom, and a utility/laundry room. The wide staircase leads up to the first floor with its generous master bedroom and en-suite shower room, a king-size bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a single/twin bedroom with pull-out truckle bed. In addition is a family bathroom with free-standing bath and walk-in shower enclosure, and a separate shower room. Maltings House is ideally placed for village and woodland walks, and with Lake Lodge at the bottom of the village there is plenty to explore from the doorstep. There are numerous quaint villages within a short drive, and the towns of Blandford, Dorchester, Sherborne and Shaftesbury are all within easy reach. The Jurassic Coast, including famous Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door is just a short drive away, making the property perfectly situated for enjoying all of the delights of Dorset. Outside: The property sits on a one acre plot, and there is a fenced and gated courtyard area to the side of the property where there is a private dining area with a table and chairs. Behind the house is a large lawned garden located over two levels going up the hillside, and accessed up some steps, and at the top of the garden is a woodland area. Parking for up to four cars if tandem parked, and additional parking on the street. Additional Information: Infants and children are welcome.
