The ideal holiday home for mixed groups or families, Villa Camporata is an attractive property – both inside and out – and is just five minute s  drive from the lively market town of Gaiole in Chianti, which is also one of the five main Chianti towns. Set in mature, flower-filled gardens with a lovely pool, the three-storey typical Tuscan villa offers masses of space for both small and large groups. The traditional terracotta floors are warmed by rugs, while examples of the talented owner’s needlework complete the homely décor throughout. When the sun shines, head to your private pool. Set in a secluded part of the garden, it is partially screened by mature hedging and trees. Then, as the day draws to a close, choose from one of two furnished terraces for your sundowner, before enjoying a communal dinner under the stars. Our Thoughts We love this villa for the space it affords large parties, and the mixed bedroom make-ups, and fabulous facilities, mean it will suit all types of guests – from mixed grown-up groups to families holidaying together. The beautiful gardens are a peaceful retreat and having the lively town of Gaiole on the doorstep means our guests have the best of both worlds here. Notes The owners live in the main house next door and there is a neighbouring rental villa on the estate, but they do not share the gardens or pool. The second-floor bedroom is also an office area and is open to the stairs, with a wrought iron balustrade separating it from the living space. However, the beds are not visible from below. There is a ceiling fan in every room.
