The Stable at West Down is a lovely pet friendly barn conversion comfortably sleeping up to 5 guests in three bedrooms. Ideally situated in the North Devon village of West Down, it is only a short walk to the village pub, and the community shop. The popular towns of Ilfracombe and Braunton are both a short drive away, and offer all your amenities such as supermarkets, independent shops, butchers, as well as a good array of pubs, cafes, and restaurants. For days out, the wonderful beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton are all closeby, as well as a number of family attractions, such as Exmoor Zoo, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, National Trust Arlington Court and many more. The cottage itself boasts a spacious lounge with large comfy sofas, a wall-mounted TV with a DVD player and a wood-burning stove. A selection of board games and DVDs are provided, for relaxing evenings in. A stylish kitchen/diner has everything needed for a stress free self catering holiday, and is fitted with an electric oven and a gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and washing machine. It also features a large pine table with plenty of seating for 5 guests. Upstairs, the three bedrooms are tastefully decorated, and include a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, twin room and a single bedroom. These are serviced by a family bathroom fitted with a bath and shower overhead, wash basin and WC. Outside, at the front of the property there is a small enclosed patio area with a picnic table, that can either be accessed from the kitchen/diner or lounge. Up to 2 dogs are welcome at The Stable at West Down. Please note: there is an additional charge per dog per booking. Please notify us at time of booking, and payment will be due with the balance.
