You will find no other property like Brookash, it has been furnished to a very good specification, ensuring you have a wonderful stay and is situated in the village of Briggswath just outside the historic coastal town of Whitby. There are a host of attractions for you to choose from nearby if you can prise yourself away from the house itself. With plenty of parking on your own private driveway, step inside and you are sure to be wowed by this beautiful entrance hallway, with glass sided steps leading upstairs to the first floor. On the ground floor you have a huge living room with comfortable seating for you all to gather, with a multi-fuel stove. With underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, you are sure to never be cold, but the wood burner provides additional ambiance, making your evenings extra cosy. The living room opens up into the dining room; dividing doors can be opened to create one huge living/dining area which is perfect for entertaining. The separate kitchen is sleek and modern, with everything needed to create home-made meals to impress. Bifold doors from the kitchen lead out onto the patio which features stunning views, where you have an enclosed private garden and outdoor seating area. There is also a utility room, toilet and office. On the first floor there are two twin bedrooms as well as a kingsize bedroom with its own balcony, plus an en-suite wet room. The master bedroom is a generous size, with a kingsize bed and en-suite with twin basins, a bath and a shower cubicle. On the First floor you have a balcony at the front of the property, as well as a spacious games room. For those who love the great outdoors this is a great destination, and in the garage there is plenty of space to store bikes and other outdoor equipment. The village of Briggswath is less than three miles from the centre of Whitby, as well as being on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Along the riverbank you have a small friendly café as well as boat and canoe hire. The river attracts a host of wildlife, from leaping salmon and heron, to otters and kingfishers if you are lucky enough to spot them. Children are sure to enjoy feeding the ducks or riding the miniature steam train. The nearby coastal town of Whitby attracts guests from around the world, with quirky cobbled streets, boats bobbing in the harbour, as well the iconic abbey up on the cliff. For beach lovers, as well as Whitby’s golden beach you have Sandsend, Runswick Bay, Robin Hood’s Bay and Scarborough all just a short drive away. You can treat younger family members to a day out at Flamingo land theme park, Alpamare water park or the Sea Life Centre. Free WiFi 2 of the bedrooms have zip and link twin beds which can be made up as double beds on request.Please bring your own hot-tub towels as only the bath/hand towels will be provided at Brookash.Unfortunatley Brookash is not able to provide the cot bedding even when booking the cot available at the property.
