On site are two lovingly furnished cottages, The Loft (UK36282) sleeping 7/8 guests and The Cottage (UK36281) comfortably accommodating up to 4. Available to guests is a shared heated indoor swimming pool and games room. The leisure facilities come equipped with inflatables, showers and toilet, there is also a table and chairs. Please note the swimming pool is used by the local community on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and therefore is not available between approximately 9am and 6pm on these days, however you are free to swim before or after when the pool will be solely for guests to use. In the shared garden area is a table and chairs with a gas BBQ and a pizza oven. The Cottage (UK36281) is a beautiful, detached property with all the essentials to ensure a fantastic stay. Enter into the kitchen which has a warm, cottage-like feel to it, equipped with everything you need and a dining table to seat 4. On arrival a welcome pack is provided with tea, coffee, wine and a homemade cake. Also on the ground floor are two bedrooms, the first with bunk beds and the second a kingsize bed. The family bathroom is also located on ground floor level. Upstairs is the living room with a Smart TV. Outside is a private lawn and courtyard area with outdoor furniture and wonderful views over the fields, there is also private parking available. The Loft (UK36282) is a quirky building, once ran as a small country hotel many years ago, it is believed that The Loft quarters are where the hotel manager lived. On the ground floor you enter into the kitchen, equipped with everything you will need along with a dining table to seat 6 and a welcome basket of wine and homemade cake waiting upon your arrival. Upstairs is the remaining accommodation; the layout is unusual giving this property even more character. Off the hallway is the living room with beautiful wooden beams, a Smart TV and ample seating. Through the sitting room is the spacious master bedroom with a kingsize bed. The family bathroom has a bath and a separate cubicle shower. The 2nd bedroom has a single bed, and the 3rd bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom, along with an en-suite shower room. Please note to get to bedroom 3 you do need to walk through bedroom 2. The cottages are only a short 15-minute drive from Alton Towers and Splash Landings. There are two fantastic pubs in the village that have great reviews too. These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 12 guests. Free WiFi The grounds, swimming pool and games room are shared with other properties on-site. Please note the swimming pool is used by the local community on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and therefore is not available between approximately 0900 and 1800 on these days, however you are free to swim before or after when the pool will be solely for guests to use.
