Le Grand Logis is a beautiful and tastefully decorated seven bedroom mansion set amongst the vineyards of the unspoilt Charente countryside, which is ideal for young families. All seven bedrooms have en suite shower or bathrooms and several of the double bedrooms can be converted to twins on request and there is a childrens bedroom with twin bunks and an en suite bathroom. There is a large living area with TV (French speaking only) and Netflix. There is wonderful outside space with a patio terrace and dining area, gas barbecue, table tennis and a private, gated, heated pool (8m by 4m). Activities nearby include water skiing, wake-boarding, river kayaking, golf, cycling, horse riding, birdwatching, cognac-tasting and boat trips along the river. The village of St-Même-les-Carrières is a 4 min walk and there is a bar that serves light snacks with restaurants being a 10 minute drive away including the Michelin-starred La Ribaudière. The beach of Royan is 1hr 15min drive and the airports of Bordeaux and Limognes are 1 hour and a half away.
