One beach, three atmospheres : the central beach to enjoy the fine sand and swim with family or friends; the surfing spot where you can practice board sports, sailing, but also beach sports and kite flying, and then the small beaches separated by rocks with a wilder air where the foreshore is revealed at low tide. The municipality of Aytre also has a daily activity program for young and old (yoga, beach-volley, gym, hiking, dance...) Aytré is also green corners with the Clay Lake, large plain available to relax, a treasure to discover...all equipped with cycle paths along the coast, ideal for walks. Half way between La Rochelle, Chatelaillon, I' Ile de Ré ou Oléron, the city enjoys a perfect location, without the inconveniences of parking, and direct access to the expressways whatever your destination. Discovering a rich terroir, between oyster farming, salt marshes, fishing on foot, horseback riding, or visiting the Angoulins fish smokehouse...there is no shortage of curiosities...A little further, Rochefort and its "Versailles of the Sea" the maritime Arsenal, the Royal rope factory, and its central place made famous by the film " Les Demoiselles de Rochefort" and of course, the marvelous La Rochelle with its towers and its history and the good feeling.
