Peach House is comprised of an upstairs and downstairs apartment, both of which have a bright and sunny, open-plan living and dining area. The apartments are fully air-conditioned and include Wi-Fi Internet, Firestick TV and DVD players. This home is located at the top of the hill in Governors Harbour, in a small community of homes called Governors Estate, part of the distinguished Governors Harbour Collection of properties. The upstairs apartment at Peach House is a bright and airy living space with French doors that open to a sunny wrap-around deck, with loungers and a small outdoor cocktail table and chairs. The master bedroom features a king size bed, and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. The kitchen includes a glass-topped electric range and oven, full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and blender. There is also a full-size washer and dryer in the apartment. The apartment includes beach towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a cooler bag for beach days. For parents travelling with infants and young toddlers, the property managers can arrange for a traveler crib/pack n' play, high chair, and beach toys available for your convenience. The town of Governors Harbour, a three-minute walk down the hill, has a charming collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking its historic harbor. Buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock, or visit the recently restored Haynes Library, which dates from 1897. Governor's Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. Friday Night Fish Fry in Governor's Harbour, is a weekly street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street until late! A stroll downhill from the estate in the other direction leads to French Leave Beach, one of the finest beaches on the island and one of the great beaches of the Caribbean. By foot, it’s about 8 minutes to French Leave, a mile-long crescent of pink sand which is literally deserted most of the time. The island of Eleuthera is famous for its 100 miles of spectacular, deserted beaches. The snorkeling, diving, and fishing on the island are world class. Boating, surfing, and other water sports are also popular. There is excellent sightseeing as well. Eleuthera has vast caves, cliffs, a bottomless ocean hole, many unique beaches, historic churches and 19th century homes, and small villages to explore.
