Activities nearby: Fantastic and surrounded by the unique backdrop of the mountains of Berchtesgaden, the beautiful natural pool Aschauerweiher, which is one of the largest natural pools in Germany, offers bathing fun for young and old. Also worth seeing are the ice cave in Markt Schellenberg, the Hintersee with the dreamy magical forest or the Salzkammergut, all of which can be easily reached by car or bus. Take a breather after a walk along the Königssee. Whether climbing, cycling or hiking, there are recreational opportunities for everyone in this area.
