Being the original show home for the lodge development it is attractively fitted out to a high standard. Patio doors from the living area gives access to a private veranda for outdoor eating and relaxing, overlooking a secluded grassed area with Marina views where guests can, perhaps, enjoy observing the birds and other wildlife visitors. Within the gated community guests are free to make use of the purpose-built brick barbecues which are dotted around nearby, or take advantage of the free to use bicycle share scheme. The park area with a variety of trees and picnic tables is a place for a pleasant stroll, as well as being a place enjoyed by dogs and their owners. Other walks can be enjoyed including the canal towpaths. The Marina boardwalk is a short stroll away where you will find cafes, a bar, art gallery, several boutiques and shops, a convenience store, and the Lotus kitchen Indian restaurant. You can book a boat trip on the Mercia Swan or stop by for refreshments at the Boat Street Café located near the bridge. Beech Lodge has two car parking spaces with six shallow steps and pathway leading to the entrance. Inside, the lodge, which can sleep 6 (5+1), is fully equipped with everything you may need for your stay including microwave, dishwasher, fibre broadband, smart TV and fire stick providing access to your own Netflix, Amazon, Amazon music and Disney accounts. There is also a supply of books and games. The very attractive central spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area provides comfortable seating and dining, overlooking the outside veranda. The appealing layout of the lodge includes two very spacious bedrooms, one each side of the central living area. One bedroom has a king size bed, en-suite bathroom with roll top bath, hand held shower, wash basin, toilet and heated towel rail. Terry bathrobe is provided. The other bedroom has a double bed and 3 foot single bed with spacious en-suite shower, washbasin, toilet and heated towel rail. Terry bathrobe provided. Both bedrooms have large, adjoining walk-in closets where you will find hanging space, baby equipment and folding bed which is available to provide extra flexible sleeping arrangements for one on request. All bed linen, towels, and kitchen towels are provided. This is a no smoking/vaping lodge Dogs are welcome for a supplement. No charge for registered assistance dogs. Please bring your own bedding and bowls.
