A spacious two-bedroom home situated in the countryside village of Hales with on site tennis court! Close to the popular riverside towns of Loddon and Beccles, Heckingham Park is a great access point to the Norfolk Broads. This is an idyllic spot for a peaceful countryside retreat without straying too far from amenities. The property offers one double bedroom, one twin room, a comfortable living room (with sofa a bed) and a modern fully equipped kitchen. Free parking is included. Accommodating up to four guests (or 6 with use of the sofa bed in the lounge) this property is the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. Step through the front door into the spacious living area which is pleasantly furnished with two large comfortable sofas and a flat screen television, you’ll feel right at home relaxing here in the evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with many utensils and appliances, including a fridge freezer, oven, electric hob, washing machine and dishwasher. There’s also a dining table with enough seats for everyone to enjoy a meal together. A stone staircase leads to the two upstairs bedrooms, and family bathroom offering a luxurious bath with a shower over. There’s one double bedroom and one twin room, both with wardrobes and drawer space for storage. The house has lovely deep windows with many over-looking the shared gardens. Just a short walk from your doorstep, you have free access to a tennis court and small gym! Parking is available on site. The entire house is yours to enjoy as well as access to the shared gym, tennis court and grounds. The property is for your private use however we're available to help for the duration of your stay. If you have any questions just let us know! Heckingham Park is situated in the village of Hales, around a 20 minute drive from Norwich City and a 25 minute drive from Lowestoft. It's a terrific spot to explore some of the lesser known (and quieter) areas of the Norfolk Broads. Whilst many tourists rarely see beyond the areas around Wroxham (north of Norwich), there is far more access to the Broads from this side of the A47. Boat hire is available from several towns and villages in the surrounding area including Loddon, which is less than 2 miles away! Excellent countryside walking and cycling routes can be found in the surrounding area, with woodlands, scenic countryside and river walks nearby. Hardley Floods nature reserve is a great spot for wildlife and bird watching! There are several popular fishing areas in close proximity, as well as some private fishing lakes in the likes of Toft Monks and Broome. You won’t be short of options for pubs, cafes and restaurants with popular eateries and drinking venues in the neighbouring village of Loddon and an even larger selection can be found in the nearby town of Beccles. In Hales itself there is a small supermarket as well as a popular Indian restaurant, ‘Masala Garden’, which comes highly recommended by locals! Well behaved dogs are welcome by agreement. Free use of the onsite tennis court and gym is included, these facilities are shared with other residents of Heckingham Park.
